Vatandaşların Akılcı İlaç Kullanımı, Bilgi ve Tutum Değerlendirmesi: Ankara İli Metropol İlçeler Örneği
(2017) Barutçu, İ. Abdurrahman; Tengilimoğlu, Dilaver; Naldöken, Ümit
İlaç tüketimi her geçen yıl önemli oranda artmaktadır.

(2015) Özgen, Pelin; Özgen, Pelin; Yeşiloğlu, Hülya; Özgen, Pelin; Department of Business; Department of Business

W-Band RCS Prediction of Small Objects: Comparing Two Widely Used Methods with Experimental Validation
(Gazi University, 2025) Kara, Ali; Aydın, Elif; Yardım, Funda Ergün; Sezgin, Deniz
This paper compares the accuracy of Shooting and Bouncing Rays and Electric Field Integral Equation methods for Radar Cross Section prediction of small objects at 77-81 GHz band. Existing studies on RCS prediction methods often lack comprehensive comparisons between computational and experimental results, particularly for small objects measured with a 77 GHz radar. This study addresses this gap by presenting an in-depth analysis of both simulation and measurement data. In this work, three targets with varying geometries and materials were measured with a frequency modulated continuous wave radar and simulated using Ansys HFSS and CST Studio Suite. The measurements were performed with a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) frequency modulated continuous wave radar operating at 77–81 GHz. This study aims to emphasize the importance of considering both efficiency and accuracy when opting for an RCS prediction method. Overall, the outcomes of both methods have largely demonstrated good alignment. It has been noted that, while Shooting and Bouncing Rays method offers promising time-saving advantages, Electric Field Integral Equation method remains a valuable tool for complex geometries where precise results are crucial.

Comparison of Three Different Learning Methods of Multilayer Perceptron Neural Network for Wind Speed Forecasting
(Gazi Univ, 2021) Bulut, Mehmet; Tora, Hakan; Buaisha, Dr.magdi
In the world, electric power is the highest need for high prosperity and comfortable living standards. The security of energy supply is an essential concept in national energy management. Therefore, ensuring the security of electricity supply requires accurate estimates of electricity demand. The share of electricity generation from renewables is significantly growing in the world. This kind of energy types are dependent on weather conditions as the wind and solar energies. There are two vital requirements to locate and measure specific systems to utilize wind power: modelling and forecasting of the wind velocity. To this end, using only 4 years of measured meteorological data, the present research attempts to estimate the related speed of wind within the Libyan Mediterranean coast with the help of ANN (artificial neural networking) with three different learning algorithms, which are Levenberg-Marquardt, Bayesian Regularization and Scaled Conjugate Gradient. Conclusions reached in this study show that wind speed can be estimated within acceptable limits using a limited set of meteorological data. In the results obtained, it was seen that the SCG algorithm gave better results in tests in this study with less data.

Variational Mode Decomposition-Based Radio Frequency Fingerprinting of Bluetooth Devices
(Ieee-inst Electrical Electronics Engineers inc, 2019) Aghnaiya, Alghannai; Ali, Aysha M.; Kara, Ali
Radio frequency fingerprinting (RFF) is based on identification of unique features of RF transient signals emitted by radio devices. RF transient signals of radio devices are short in duration, non-stationary and nonlinear time series. This paper evaluates the performance of RF fingerprinting method based on variational mode decomposition (VMD). For this purpose, VMD is used to decompose Bluetooth (BT) transient signals into a series of band-limited modes, and then, the transient signal is reconstructed from the modes. Higher order statistical (HOS) features are extracted from the complex form of reconstructed transients. Then, Linear Support Vector Machine (LVM) classifier is used to identify BT devices. The method has been tested experimentally with BT devices of different brands, models and series. The classification performance shows that VMD based RF fingerprinting method achieves better performance (at least 8% higher) than time-frequency-energy (TFED) distribution based methods such as Hilbert-Huang Transform. This is demonstrated with the same dataset but with smaller number of features (nine features) and slightly lower (2-3 dB) SNR levels.

Study on the Cytocompatibility, Mechanical and Antimicrobial Properties of 3d Printed Composite Scaffolds Based on Pva/ Gold Nanoparticles (aunp)/ Ampicillin (amp) for Bone Tissue Engineering
(Elsevier, 2021) Topsakal, Aysenur; Midha, Swati; Yuca, Esra; Tukay, Ari; Sasmazel, Hilal Turkoglu; Kalaskar, Deepak M.; Gunduz, Oguzhan
Over the years, gold nanoparticles (AuNP) have been widely used in several biomedical applications related to the diagnosis, drug delivery, bio-imaging, photo-thermal therapy and regenerative medicine, owing to their unique features such as surface plasmon resonance, fluorescence and easy surface functionality. Recent studies showed that gold nanoparticles display positive effect on osteogenic differentiation. In line with this effect, 3-Dimesional (3D) scaffolds that can be used in bone tissue were produced by exploiting the properties of gold nanoparticles that increase biocompatibility and support bone tissue development. In addition, ampicillin was added to the scaffolds containing gold nanoparticles as a model drug to improve its antimicrobial properties. The scaffolds were produced as composites of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) main matrix as PVA, PVA/AuNP, PVA/Ampicillin (AMP) and PVA/AuNP/AMP. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), tensile measurement tests, and in vitro applications of 3D scaffolds were performed. As depicted by SEM, scaffolds were produced at pore sizes appropriate for bone tissue regeneration. According to FTIR results, there was no modification observed in the AMP, PVA and gold nanoparticles due to mixing in the resultant scaffolds. In vitro results show that 3D printed composite scaffold based on PVA/AuNP/AMP are biocompatible, osteo-inductive and exhibit antimicrobial properties, compared to PVA scaffolds. This study has implications for addressing infections during orthopedic surgeries. The PVA-based gold nanoparticle 3D tissue scaffold study containing ampicillin covers a new study compared to other articles based on gold nanoparticles.

2-Ag and Bone Marrow-Targeted Pcl Nanoparticles as Nanoplatforms for Hematopoietic Cell Line Mobilization
(Bmc, 2024) Kose, Sevil; Varan, Cem; Onen, Selin; Nemutlu, Emirhan; Bilensoy, Erem; Korkusuz, Petek
BackgroundThe use of mobilizing agents for hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) transplantation is insufficient for an increasing number of patients. We previously reported lipid made endocannabinoid (eCB) ligands act on the human bone marrow (hBM) HSC migration in vitro, lacking long term stability to be therapeutic candidate. In this study, we hypothesized if a novel 2-AG-loaded polycaprolactone (PCL)-based nanoparticle delivery system that actively targets BM via phosphatidylserine (Ps) can be generated and validated.MethodsPCL nanoparticles were prepared by using the emulsion evaporation method and characterized by Zetasizer and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The encapsulation efficiency and release profile of 2-AG were determined by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). The presence of cannabinoid receptors (CBRs) in HSCs and monocytes was detected by flow cytometry. Cell morphology and viability were assessed using transmission electron microscopy (TEM), SEM, and the WST-1 viability assay. The migration efficacy of the 2-AG and 2-AG-loaded nanoparticle delivery system on HSCs and HPSCs (TF-1a and TF-1) and monocytes (THP-1) was evaluated using a transwell migration assay.ResultsThe 140-225 nm PCL nanoparticles exhibited an increasing polydispersity index (PDI) after the addition of Ps and 2-AG, with a surface charge ranging from - 25 to -50 mV. The nanoparticles released up to 36% of 2-AG within the first 8 h. The 2-AG-Ps-PCL did not affect cellular viability compared to control on days 5 and 10. The HSCs and monocytes expressed CB1R and CB2R and revealed increased migration to media containing 1 mu M 2-AG-Ps-PCL compared to control. The migration rate of the HSCs toward monocytes incubated with 1 mu M 2-AG-Ps-PCL was higher than that of the monocytes of control. The 2-AG-Ps-PCL formulation provided a real time mobilization efficacy at 1 mu M dose and 8 h time window via a specific CBR agonism.ConclusionThe newly generated and validated 2-AG-loaded PCL nanoparticle delivery system can serve as a stable, long lasting, targeted mobilization agent for HSCs and as a candidate therapeutic to be included in HSC transplantation (HSCT) protocols following scale-up in vivo preclinical and subsequent clinical trials.
