Conference Object Citation - Scopus: 1Analyzing the Requirements for E-Government Transition of Iraqi Ics Services: an Iraqi Correction Services Case Study(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2017) Alameri,M.A.; Bostan,A.; Akman,I.Iraqi Correction Services (ICS) is a department within the Ministry of Justice. Most services are provided through traditional paper and pen system. This system causes delays in service provision time and work over-load on ICS staff which translates into a high cost of service provision. E-government applications represent an opportunity to automate governmental services while improving both effectiveness and efficiency. This work presents the approach taken to determine the priority to automate ICS service from the perspective of service beneficiaries. The research is yet to be completed, however, up to this point we developed four different questionnaire-sets in order to collect the requirements from the shareholders, verified them and implemented the actual survey in the field. The experience gained throughout these steps and the future analysis plan is reported in this paper. © 2017 IEEE.Conference Object Citation - Scopus: 9A Proposal on Requirements for Cosmic Fsm Automation From Source Code(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2017) Tarhan,A.; Ozkan,B.; Icoz,G.C.Automation of functional size measurement (FSM) process has increasingly gained importance since manual measurement is time-consuming, costly, and sometimes errorprone. There exist studies that automate measurement from different software artifacts such as requirements specifications, design models, and software code. In this study we review and compare four studies that we have carried out in recent years to automate COSMIC FSM from software code. Based on the comparison and the lessons learned, we derive an operational scenario for automated FSM from software code and propose a set of requirements that need to be considered in automation. We think the proposal will be helpful not only for our future studies and also for future work of interested researchers. © 2016 IEEE.Review Citation - WoS: 70Citation - Scopus: 111Devops and Software Quality: a Systematic Mapping(Elsevier, 2020) Mishra, Alok; Otaiwi, ZiadoonQuality pressure is one of the factors affecting processes for software development in its various stages. DevOps is one of the proposed solutions to such pressure. The primary focus of DevOps is to increase the deployment speed, frequency and quality. DevOps is a mixture of different developments and operations to its multitudinous ramifications in software development industries, DevOps have attracted the interest of many researchers. There are considerable literature surveys on this critical innovation in software development, yet, little attention has been given to DevOps impact on software quality. This research is aimed at analyzing the implications of DevOps features on software quality. DevOps can also be referred to a change in organization cultures aimed at removal of gaps between the development and operations of an organization. The adoption of DevOps in an organization provides many benefits including quality but also brings challenges to an organization. This study presents systematic mapping of the impact of DevOps on software quality. The results of this study provide a better understanding of DevOps on software quality for both professionals and researchers working in this area. The study shows research was mainly focused in automation, culture, continuous delivery, fast feedback of DevOps. There is need of further research in many areas of DevOps (for instance: measurement, development of metrics of different stages to assess its performance, culture, practices toward ensuring quality assurance, and quality factors such as usability, efficiency, software maintainability and portability).
