The main advantage of this technique is that the bulk properties of the material remain unchanged while the surface properties and biocompatibility are enhanced. Polymers are used in many biomedical applications; such as implants, because of their variable bulk properties. On the other hand, their surface properties are inadequate which demands certain surface treatments including atmospheric pressure plasma treatment. In biomedical applications, surface treatment is important to promote good cell adhesion, proliferation, and growth. Mesleklerarası eğitim dünyada sağlık alanında eğitim veren saygın üniversitelerineğitim müfredatlarına entegre edilmiştir. Türkiye’de ise henüz lisans müfredat programlarında yer almamaktadır. Ancak, Türkiye’de sağlık alanında eğitim alan öğrencilerin, mesleklerarası eğitim programları ile mesleki bilgi ve becerilerinin, yeterliliklerinin, diğer mesleklere olan farkındalıklarının arttırılarak ekip olarak çalışabilme becerisi kazanabilecekleri öngörülmektedir. Literatürde mesleklerarası eğitimin etkinliğinin arttırılması için yenilikçi bir yöntem olan simülasyonun kullanılması önerilmektedir. Simülasyona dayalı mesleklerarası eğitim, öğrencilerinteorik bilgileri ile uygulamaları arasındaki boşluğu gidermekte, iletişim becerilerini ve mesleklerarası ekip çalışması becerilerini geliştirmektedir. Ayrıca bu yaklaşım farklı meslekler arasında köprüler oluşturmakta, etkili bir ekip işbirliğini sağlayarak diğer mesleklerin rollerinin anlaşılmasına ve bilgi kazanımının sağlanmasına katkıda bulunmaktadır. Such immature practices lead to various negative outcomes, e.g., ineffectiveness of testing practices in detecting all the defects, and cost and schedule overruns of testing activities. To conduct test maturity assessment (TMA) and test process improvement (TPI) in a systematic manner, various TMA/TPI models and approaches have been proposed. Objective: It is important to identify the state-of-the-art and the-practice in this area to consolidate the list of all various test maturity models proposed by practitioners and researchers, the drivers of TMA/TPI, the associated challenges and the benefits and results of TMA/TPI. Our article aims to benefit the readers (both practitioners and researchers) by providing the most comprehensive survey of the area, to this date, in assessing and improving the maturity of test processes. Method: To achieve the above objective, we have performed a Multivocal Literature Review (MLR) study to find out what we know about TMA/TPI. A MLR is a form of a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) which includes the grey literature (e.g., blog posts and white papers) in addition to the published (formal) literature (e.g., journal and conference papers). We searched the academic literature using the Google Scholar and the grey literature using the regular Google search engine. Results: Our MLR and its results are based on 181 sources, 51 (29%) of which were grey literature and 130 (71%) were formally published sources. By summarizing what we know about TMA/TPI, our review identified 58 different test maturity models and a large number of sources with varying degrees of empirical evidence on this topic. We also conducted qualitative analysis (coding) to synthesize the drivers, challenges and benefits of TMA/TPI from the primary sources. Conclusion: We show that current maturity models and techniques in TMA/TPI provides reasonable advice for industry and the research community. We suggest directions for follow-up work, e.g., using the findings of this MLR in industry-academia collaborative projects and empirical evaluation of models and techniques in the area of TMA/TPI as reported in this article. Moreover, the potential applications appear boundless when LOC is integrated with intelligent hydrogels. In the literature, however, there are few accounts of the vast array of developments and applications that this combination has spawned. These new systems, which integrate smart hydrogels and LOC and thus significantly advance cuttingedge technology, have been thoroughly examined in this review. The functions of smart hydrogels in LOC applications were described and subsequently the developed intelligent hydrogels were classified as multiresponsive, thermo-responsive, pH-responsive, and stimuli-responsive (light, magnetic, and electric). Following this, details regarding tunable properties for LOC functions were provided, followed by a discussion of the fabrication processes and integration of these intelligent hydrogels into LOC systems, including their benefits and drawbacks. Following that, current literature examples of LOC systems utilizing these intelligent hydrogels for biosensing, 3D culture, tissue engineering, controlled release, personalized medicine, drug delivery, analyte enrichment, and organ-on-a-chip applications were presented. Turkey's electricity demand is continuously increasing due to fast economic growth coupled with the country's vibrant young population. It is envisaged that this demand would keep on increasing almost exponentially in the next decade according to the recently avowed Vision 2023 agenda. According to which, the Turkish government ambitiously wants to provide 30.0% of the country's electricity demand from renewable energy sources by 2023. Turkey has vast renewable energy potential including hydro, geothermal, solar and wind. However, historically there is only one playmaker that is hydropower. Thus a detailed review of the current status and future prospects of Turkish hydropower market is urgently needed to generate a roadmap for the Vision 2023 agenda. This paper was intended to provide that vital information. Currently, more than 25.0% or 57.5 TWh of the country's electricity demand is supplied from hydropower. According to official projections this would increase to approximately 116.0 TWh in 2023. In this study, hydropower's supply rate of Turkey's annual electricity demand was assessed based on the official projections and a forecast was generated. Results showed that between 22.0% and 27.0% of Turkey's annual electricity demand should be supplied from hydropower in 2023. Therefore, between 22.5 TWh and 45.0 TWh of electricity should be generated from renewable energy sources other than hydropower to provide a total of 30.0% renewable energy based electricity generation in 2023. MATERIAL and METHODS: A total of 295 patients with Grade 1 residual Meningiomas (197 women, 98 men), who were treated by adjuvant radiosurgery in Gazi University Gamma Knife Center between 2004-2015 were analyzed. WHO Grade 2 and 3 meningiomas were not included in our study. Minimum radiological follow-up was 24 months. The median follow-up was 54 months. The tumor volume, location, treatment dose, morbidity, progression free survival and tumor control rate were analyzed. RESULTS: The median tumor volume was 5.2 cm(3) (0.04-39.7), median age was 50 (20-80), median dose was 14 Gy and tumor control rate was 94.5% (stationary in 85.0%, volume reduction in 9.5%). Increase in tumor volume was seen in 16 patients (5.5%) and re-operation was performed in 5 of them (1.6%). Stereotactic radiosurgery was performed again for 8 patients (2.7%).The location of the tumors was as follows: 39.3% parasellar region, 20% cerebellopontine angle, 13.6% petroclival and 27.1% was parasagittal, falcine or convexity. Major morbidities were detected in 6 (2%) patients. Minor morbidities were detected in 18 (6.1%) patients. In this review we restrict ourselves to the recent advances in the structural and electronic properties of binary alloy clusters. This type of clusters is particularly of importance thanks to their very availability for being tuned, by changing their sizes, according to any special needs. A brief summary of the classification of clusters as well as the experimental techniques and theoretical methods to study them, and the possible applications of alloy clusters are given in the introduction part. However, Turkey does not have indigenous resources and imports more than 98.0% of the natural gas it consumes. In 2011, more than 20.0% of Turkey's annual trade deficit was due to imported natural gas, estimated at US$ 20.0 billion. Turkish government has very ambitious targets for the country's energy sector in the next decade according to the Vision 2023 agenda. Previously, we have estimated that Turkey's annual electricity demand would be 530,000 GWh at the year 2023. Considering current energy market dynamics it is almost evident that a substantial amount of this demand would be supplied from natural gas. However, meticulous analysis of the Vision 2023 goals clearly showed that the information about the natural gas sector is scarce. Most importantly there is no demand forecast for natural gas in the Vision 2023 agenda. Therefore, in this study the aim was to generate accurate forecasts for Turkey's natural gas demand between 2013 and 2030. For this purpose, two semi-empirical models based on econometrics, gross domestic product (GDP) at purchasing power parity (PPP) per capita, and demographics, population change, were developed. The logistic equation, which can be used for long term natural gas demand forecasting, and the linear equation, which can be used for medium term demand forecasting, fitted to the timeline series almost seamlessly. In addition, these two models provided reasonable fits according to the mean absolute percentage error, MAPE %, criteria. Turkey's natural gas demand at the year 2030 was calculated as 76.8 billion m(3) using the linear model and 83.8 billion m(3) based on the logistic model. Consequently, found to be in better agreement with the official Turkish petroleum pipeline corporation (BOTAS) forecast, 76.4 billion m(3), than results published in the literature.
