    Relationships Between Tropical Eigenvectors and Tropical Fixed Points of the Group gl(2, R)

    The eigenvalues, eigenvectors and fixed points of matrices have many applications in various branches of science and many mathematical disciplines. In this paper first we introduce the concept of tropical fixed points, then we calculate the tropical eigenvalues and tropical eigenvectors of GL(2, R). Furthermore we give relationships between tropical eigenvectors and tropical fixed points of GL(2, R).

    In this paper, we shall generalize the convergence theorem introduced by Presic in 1965, by introducing the notions of alpha-Presic type contractive multivalued operators. We shall also construct some examples to prove the generality of our results.

    On α-ψ< Contractive Mappings

    In this paper, we introduce the notion of alpha-psi-Meir-Keeler contractive mappings via a triangular alpha-admissible mapping. We discuss the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point of such a mapping in the setting of complete metric spaces. We state a number of examples to illustrate our results.     Some Fixed Point Results Via Measure of Noncompactness

    In this paper, by using the measure of noncompactness and Meir-Keeler type mappings, we prove some new fixed point theorems for some certain mappings, namely, the weaker phi-Meir-Keeler type contractions, asymptotic weaker phi-Meir-Keeler type contractions, asymptotic sequence {phi(i)}-Meir-Keeler type contraction, xi-generalized comparison type contraction, and R-functional type psi-contractions. Our results improve and hence cover the well-known Darbo's fixed point theorem, and several related recent fixed point results. (C) 2017 All rights reserved.

    On the Meir-Keeler Set Contractions
