    In this paper, we establish fixed point theorems for a (alpha, psi)-Meir-Keeler-Khan self mappings. The main result of our work is an extension of the theorem of Khan [M. S. Khan, Rend. Inst. Math. Univ. Trieste. Vol VIII, Fase., 10 (1976), 1-4]. We also give some consequences. (C)2015 All rights reserved.

    Fixed Points of Generalized Contractive Mappings of Integral Type

    The aim of this paper is to introduce classes of alpha-admissible generalized contractive type mappings of integral type and to discuss the existence of fixed points for these mappings in complete metric spaces. Our results improve and generalize fixed point results in the literature.

    Fixed point results for generalized (α, ψ)-Meir-Keeler contractive mappings and applications

    In this paper, we introduce a new type of a generalized-(alpha, psi)-Meir-Keeler contractive mapping and establish some interesting theorems on the existence of fixed points for such mappings via admissible mappings. Applying our results, we derive fixed point theorems in ordinary metric spaces and metric spaces endowed with an arbitrary binary relation.
