Article Citation - WoS: 1TRIPLE FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR WEAK (ψ-φ)-CONTRACTIONS(Eudoxus Press, Llc, 2013) Karapinar, Erdal; Sadarangani, KishinThe notion of coupled fixed point is introduced in by Bhaskar and Lakshmikantham in [2]. Very recently, the concept of the tripled fixed point is introduced by Berinde and Borcut [1]. They also proved some triple fixed point theorems. In this manuscript, by using the weak (psi - phi)-contraction, the results of Berinde and Borcut [1] are generalized.Article Citation - WoS: 52Citation - Scopus: 69Quadruple Fixed Point Theorems for Nonlinear Contractions(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2012) Karapinar, Erdal; Nguyen Van LuongThe notion of coupled fixed point is introduced by Gnana-Bhaskar and Lakshmikantham. Very recently, the concept of tripled fixed point was introduced by Berinde and Borcut. In this manuscript, a quadruple fixed point is considered and some new related fixed point theorems are obtained. We also give some examples to illustrate our results. (c) 2012 Elsevier Ltd. Later Gnana Bhaskar and Lakshmikantham in [11] investigated the coupled fixed points in the setting of partially ordered set by defining the notion of mixed monotone property. Very recently, the concept of tripled fixed point was introduced by Berinde and Borcut [7]. Following this trend, Karapmar[19] defined the quadruple fixed point. In this manuscript, quadruple fixed point is discussed and some new fixed point theorems are obtained on partial metric spaces.Article Citation - WoS: 52Citation - Scopus: 47A Generalized Contraction Principle in Partial Metric Spaces(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2012) Kieu Phuong Chi; Karapinar, Erdal; Tran Duc ThanhIn this paper, we prove fixed point theorems for generally contractive mappings in complete partial metric spaces. Theorems presented are generalizations of recent fixed point theorems of D. Ilic, V. Pavlovic, and V. Rakocevic. An example is also stated that illustrates our results are extensions of their theorems. Article Citation - Scopus: 6A Generalization of the Meir–keeler Type Contraction(Elsevier B.V., 2012) Chi,K.P.; Karapinar,E.; Thanh,T.D.In this paper, we prove a fixed point theorem which has applications on maps called T-contractions which include a class that satisfies the Meir–Keeler type contractive condition. We also present an example that illustrates that T-contractions are a natural extension of the Meir–Keeler type contraction. © 2012Article Citation - WoS: 51Citation - Scopus: 61Quadruple Fixed Point Theorems for Nonlinear Contractions in Partially Ordered Metric Spaces(Duke Univ Press, 2012) Karapinar, Erdal; Berinde, VasileIn this paper we obtain existence and uniqueness results for quadruple fixed points of operators F : X-4 -> X. We also give some examples to support our results.Article Citation - Scopus: 6Positive Solutions of a Second Order M-Point Bvp on Time Scales(2009) Topal,S.G.; Yantir,A.In this study, we are concerned with proving the existence of multiple positive solutions of a general second order nonlinear m-point boundary value problem (m-PBVP) uΔ∇(t) + a(t)uΔ(t) + b(t)u(t) + λh(t)f(t, u) = 0,t∈ [0,1], u(p(0))=0, u(σ(1)) Σm-2,i=1 α iu(ni),on time scales. The proofs are based on the fixed point theorems in a Banach space. We present an example to illustrate how our results work. © 2009 InforMath Publishing Group.Article Citation - Scopus: 1Triple Fixed Point Theorems for Weak (ψ-Φ)(2013) Karapinar,E.; Sadarangani,K.The notion of coupled fixed point is introduced in by Bhaskar and Lakshmikantham in [2]. P.; Karapinar, E.; Thanh, T. D.; MathematicsIn this paper, we prove a fixed point theorem for a pair of generalized weakly contractive mappings in complete partial metric spaces. The are generalizations of very recent fixed point theorems due to Abdeljawad, Karapmar and Tas.
