Research using bibliometric analysis has been conducted and it has been determined that the terms "digital transformation" and "intellectual capital" should be searched for simultaneously in each and every article published in the journal between the years 1975 and 2022.FindingsA bibliometric analysis and citation mapping process are carried out considering all dimensions to reach the results and interpretation of findings. VOSviewer is used to visualize the bibliometric networks of results and findings in the form of scientific mapping, as well as to visualize the co-authorship analysis of keywords, co-authorship analysis and citation networks.Research limitations/implicationsBibliometric analysis is a method that can be used to evaluate the performance of a single journal. However, it is important to note that bibliometric analysis has some limitations when it comes to assessing the validity of a single journal. This circumstance is elaborately described as a limitation of this study. Bibliometric analysis is a method that can be used to evaluate the performance of a single journal. However, it is important to note that bibliometric analysis has some limitations when it comes to assessing the validity of a single journal. One limitation is that bibliometric analysis is based on quantitative metrics, such as citation counts, which do not take into account the quality of the research. Therefore, bibliometric analysis alone may not provide a complete picture of the validity of a single journal. In addition, bibliometric analysis is based on the number of times a paper is cited, which can be influenced by factors such as the prestige of the journal, the field of research and the time since the publication. In conclusion, bibliometric analysis can be used to evaluate the performance of a single journal, but it is important to consider its limitations.Originality/valueThis study identified contributions, gaps and limits based on the results of a bibliometric analysis. Italy is the most influential country and the issue is structured around four clusters: IC; digital transformation; human capital; and knowledge management. As previously unexplored issues are addressed in an innovative manner, it is acceptable to underline the paper's originality.Conference Object Contemporary Research Trends in Mobile Learning(Springer Science and Business Media Deutschland GmbH, 2024) Ekin,C.C.; Algabsi,S.E.This study attempts to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the structure and development of mobile learning research. For this, 7829 publications included in the Elsevier SCOPUS database between 1984 and 2021 were examined using bibliometric analysis by identifying key research areas, most influential authors, co-authorship status of countries, and organizations. As a result of this study, most topics related to mobile learning were Computer Science. “Mobile Learning” was the most used keyword followed by “e-learning” and “higher education”. Top performing organizations were in Taiwan. Taiwan was the major contributor in m-learning publications’ co-citation with other co-authorship countries. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.Master Thesis Turizm Araştırma Alanındaki Sosyal Ağ Çalışmalarının Bibliometrik Analizi(2020) Akbulut, Haydar; Tuzlukaya, ŞuleBu tez, turizm araştırma alanında bibliometrik yöntemler kullanılarak sosyal ağ yapısının görselleştirilmesini ve buradan yola çıkarak dökümanlar arası ilişkiler hakkında bilgi edilmesi amacıyla görselleştirme sonuçlarının analizini hedeflemektedir. Bulgular TASA araştırmalarının son on yılda kayda değer bir büyüme gösterdiğine işaret etmektedir. Yazarlar ve ülkeler arasındaki iş birliklerini gösteren analizler sonucunda; Amerika, İspanya, Avustralya, ve Birleşik Krallık araştırma paternleri ve akımları noktasında alanı büyük ölçüde etkilediğini ortaya koymuştur.Yapılan atıf analizinde, referanslar arası ağları gösteren kümelerin merkezde toplanma eğiliminde olduğu ve bu kümelerin birbirlerini büyük ölçüde kapsayacak biçimde şekillendikleri görülmüştür.
