Article Citation - WoS: 16Citation - Scopus: 19Fixed Point Theorems in Quasi-Metric Spaces and Applications To Multidimensional Fixed Point Theorems on g-metric Spaces(Yokohama Publ, 2015) Agarwal, Ravi; Karapinar, Erdal; Roldan-Lopez-De-Hierro, Antonio-Francisco; MathematicsIn this manuscript, we investigate the equivalence of the coupled fixed point theorems in quasi-metric spaces and in G-metric spaces. We also notice that coupled fixed point theorems in the setting of G-metric spaces can be derived from their corresponding versions in quasi-metric spaces. Our results generalize and unify several fixed point theorems in the context of G-metric spaces in the literature.Article Citation - WoS: 7Citation - Scopus: 9Cyclic Contractions and Related Fixed Point Theorems on g-metric Spaces(Natural Sciences Publishing Corp-nsp, 2014) Bilgili, N.; Erhan, I. M.; Karapinar, E.; Turkoglu, D.Very recently, Jleli and Samet [53] and Samet et. al. [52] reported that some fixed point result in G-metric spaces can be derived from the fixed point theorems in the setting of usual metric space. In this paper, we prove the existence and uniqueness of fixed points of certain cyclic mappings in the context of G-metric spaces that can not be obtained by usual fixed point results via techniques used in [53,52]. We also give an example to illustrate our statements.Article Citation - WoS: 15Citation - Scopus: 13Matkowski Theorems in the Context of Quasi-Metric Spaces and Consequences on g-metric Spaces(Sciendo, 2016) Karapinar, Erdal; Roldan-Lopez-de-Hierro, Antonio-Francisco; Samet, BessemIn this paper, we prove the characterization of a Matkowski's theorem in the setting of quasi-metric spaces. As a result, we observe that some recent fixed point results in the context of G-metric spaces are consequences of our main result.
