    Remarks on Contractive Mappings Via Ω-Distance

    Very recently, some authors discovered that some fixed point results in the context of a G-metric space can be derived from the fixed point results in the context of a quasi-metric space and hence the usual metric space. In this article, we investigate some fixed point results in the framework of a G -metric space via Ω-distance that cannot be obtained by the usual fixed point results in the literature.     Some Applications of Caristi’s Fixed Point Theorem in Metric Spaces

    In this work, partial answers to Reich, Mizoguchi and Takahashi’s and Amini-Harandi’s conjectures are presented via a light version of Caristi’s fixed point theorem. Moreover, we introduce the idea that many of known fixed point theorems can easily be derived from the Caristi theorem. Finally, the existence of bounded solutions of a functional equation is studied. © 2016 Khojasteh et al.
