In this short paper, we unexpectedly notice that the modified version of α-ψ-contractivemappings, suggested by Salimi et al. On ćirić type φ-geraghty contractions

In this paper we introduce the notions of φ-Geraghty contractions and Ćirić type φ-Geraghty contractions. We also investigate under which conditions such mappings posses a unique fixed point in the framework of complete metric spaces.
