Existence of a Solution of Integral Equations Via Fixed Point Theorem
(Springeropen, 2013) Gulyaz, Selma; Karapinar, Erdal; Rakocevic, Vladimir; Salimi, Peyman
In this paper, we establish a solution to the following integral equation: u(t) = integral(T)(0) G(t, s)f(s, u(s)) ds for all t is an element of [0,T], (1) where T > 0, f : [0, T] x R -> R and G : [0, T] x [0, T] -> [0, infinity) are continuous functions. For this purpose, we also obtain some auxiliary fixed point results which generalize, improve and unify some fixed point theorems in the literature.

α-admissible mappings and related fixed point theorems
(Springeropen, 2013) Hussain, Nawab; Karapinar, Erdal; Salimi, Peyman; Akbar, Farhana
In this paper, we prove the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point for certain alpha-admissible contraction mappings. Our results generalize and extend some well-known results on the topic in the literature. We consider some examples to illustrate the usability of our results.

Cyclic Contractions and Related Fixed Point Theorems on g-metric Spaces
    (Natural Sciences Publishing Corp-nsp, 2014) Bilgili, N.; Erhan, I. M.; Karapinar, E.; Turkoglu, D.
Very recently, Jleli and Samet [53] and Samet et. al. [52] reported that some fixed point result in G-metric spaces can be derived from the fixed point theorems in the setting of usual metric space. In this paper, we prove the existence and uniqueness of fixed points of certain cyclic mappings in the context of G-metric spaces that can not be obtained by usual fixed point results via techniques used in [53,52]. We also give an example to illustrate our statements.

On the existence of fixed points that belong to the zero set of a certain function
(Springer international Publishing Ag, 2015) Karapinar, Erdal; O'Regan, Donal; Samet, Bessem
Let T : X -> X be a given operator and F-T be the set of its fixed points. For a certain function phi : X -> [0,infinity), we say that F-T is phi-admissible if F-T is nonempty and F-T subset of Z(phi), where Z(phi) is the zero set of phi. In this paper, we study the phi-admissibility of a new class of operators. As applications, we establish a new homotopy result and we obtain a partial metric version of the Boyd-Wong fixed point theorem.

New Extension of p-metric Spaces With Some Fixed-Point Results on m-metric Spaces
(Springer international Publishing Ag, 2014) Asadi, Mehdi; Karapinar, Erdal; Salimi, Peyman
In this paper, we extend the p-metric space to an M-metric space, and we shall show that the definition we give is a real generalization of the p-metric by presenting some examples. In the sequel we prove some of the main theorems by generalized contractions for getting fixed points and common fixed points for mappings.

A New Fixed Point Result Via Property P With an Application
(int Scientific Research Publications, 2017) Mustafa, Zead; Jaradat, M. M. M.; Karapinar, Erdal
The purpose of this paper is to introduce a new contractive condition. We prove the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point of self-mapping under this new contractive condition. Moreover, we observe analog of these results for the mappings that satisfy the property P. An application on integral equations is presented to illustrate the main result. Our results extend and generalize well-known results in the literature. (C) 2017 All rights reserved.

Discussion on Some Coupled Fixed Point Theorems
(Springer international Publishing Ag, 2013) Samet, Bessem; Karapinar, Erdal; Aydi, Hassen; Rajic, Vesna Cojbasic
In this paper, we show that, unexpectedly, most of the coupled fixed point theorems (on ordered metric spaces) are in fact immediate consequences of well-known fixed point theorems in the literature. MSC: 47H10, 54H25.

α-(ψ, φ) Contractive mappings on quasi-partial metric spaces
(Springer international Publishing Ag, 2015) Karapinar, Erdal; Gholizadeh, Leila; Alsulami, Hamed H.; Noorwali, Maha
In this paper, we consider alpha- contractive mappings in the setting of quasi-partial metric spaces and verify the existence of a fixed point on such spaces. Moreover, we present some examples and applications in integral equations of our obtained results.

    On Ciric Type φ-Geraghty Contractions
(Chiang Mai Univ, Fac Science, 2019) Alqahtani, Badr; Fulga, Andreea; Karapinar, Erdal
In this paper we introduce the notions of phi-Geraghty contractions and Ciric type phi-Geraghty contractions. We also investigate under which conditions such mappings posses a unique fixed point in the framework of complete metric spaces. We consider examples to show the validity of our main results.

Generalized Partial Metric Spaces With a Fixed Point Theorem
(Islamic Azad Univ, Shiraz Branch, 2019) Aydi, H.; Karapinar, E.
In this paper, we introduce the notion of extended partial metric space and we present some fixed point theorems in generalized partial metric spaces involving linear and nonlinear contractions.
