The pressure was kept in between the range of 0.1 torr-0.5 torr and for each pressure different measurements were taken at 5 mA, 10 mA and 15 mA plasma currents. Moreover, emission spectrum of Air, N 2 and Ar plasma analysis were done respectively. It was found that the transmission of terahertz pulses through nitrogen plasma was considerably affected compared to that of the argon plasma. ©2009 IEEE.Conference Object The Borderline Between Serious Games and Simulations(Iated-int Assoc Technology Education & development, 2014) Guney, Sinem; Cagiltay, Nergiz Ercil; Tuner, Emre; Cereci, IbrahimGame and simulation-based environments allow trainees to develop motor and cognitive skills as well as to provide some very detailed measurement values which in turn provide a feedback mechanism. It is a well known fact that games and simulation are potentially creating safer and cheaper active learning environments. Even when several benefits of games and simulations are reported in the literature, there is no exact definition of a game and simulation drawing the borders in between. Hence this causes to some complexities and misunderstandings in the field. Accordingly, in this study a definition for simulations and games is searched by being based on the studies found in the literature. Based on these definitions a borderline for the games and simulations will be provided. Results of study aim to guide the educational technology designers by better defining their education designs and better understanding their affect on the educational environments.Conference Object Citation - Scopus: 1Crm System Implementation in a Multinational Enterprise(2009) Mishra,A.; Mishra,D.The concept of customer relationship management (CRM) resonates with managers in today's competitive economy. As more and more organizations realize the significance of becoming customer-centric in today's competitive era, they embrace CRM as a core business strategy. CRM an integration of information technology and relationship marketing provides the infrastructure that facilitates long-term relationship building with customers at an enterprise-wide level. Successful CRM implementation is a complex, expensive and rarely technical projects. This paper presents the successful implementation of CRM in a multinational organization. This study will facilitate in understanding transition, constraints and implementation of CRM in multinational enterprises. © Springer-Verlag 2009.Conference Object Citation - Scopus: 1A Systematical Review Study To Investigate the Use of Biometric Security Techniques in Automatic Teller Machines: Insight From the Past 15 Years(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2019) Saad,A.M.S.E.In a Technological financial world where everything is progressing very fast and the amount of financial transactions through the automatic teller machines (ATM) on a daily basis is increasing. In parallel to these developments, fraudulent attacks and identity theft targeting to access the ATM and steal money or use bank accounts. Those attacks are always possible through the weak security points in the ATMs. The main aim of this study is to investigate and categorize the different approaches taken to overcome those weak security points by using biometric data along with some traditional methods. Accordingly, a systematical mapping was conducted by focusing on research studies published in the years 2004 to 2019 and addressing to the ATMs and biometric security technologies. After an intense investigation, 23 different systems were investigated using different single and multi-biometric models which make use of 8 different biometric technologies and 5 different traditional technologies as key components. As a conclusion from this research that researchers are leaning towards using biometric data in enhancing the security of the ATMs especially in the past 4 years more than they did before. © 2019 IEEE.Conference Object Naturalness Analysis of the Speech Synthesized by a Tts Card(Ieee, 2016) Tora, Hakan; Uslu, BaranIt is known that the performance of a developed text-to-speech (TTS) synthesis system is assessed by subjective tests. These assessments are usually based on the intelligibility and naturalness of the synthesized speech. In this study, an investigation on relating these subjective test results, thus the naturalness of the synthesized speech, to which acoustic features is accomplished. Consequently the features which will increase the performance while synthesizing the speech are determined. Our work is focused especially on the pitch frequency and energy parameters.Conference Object Citation - Scopus: 12Design and Implementation of a Mobile Webcast Application With Google Analytics and Cloud Messaging Functionality(Institute of Physics Publishing, 2019) Jonathan,O.; Misra,S.; Ibanga,E.; Maskeliunas,R.; Damasevicius,R.; Ahuja,R.Church cast is an application developed to bring the messages of ministries closer to their members by harnessing the Internet and mobile devices. Due to the very busy schedules of people and religious restrictions in some countries, people are not usually able to be physically present at their locations of worship to listen to or watch their ministers. Existing applications developed in the past like DOMI radio and Redemption TV Media were limited to only audio, poor and unintuitive user interfaces and not providing the administrator any interactions with the users of the application. In this work, we develop an Android-based application that makes it possible for users to watch live streams and on-demand videos from their ministries using their mobile devices. The application also incorporates sharing and analytics functionalities to enable users to share videos messages with loved ones and help the administrator monitor users' activities on the application respectively. The cloud messaging functionality enables the administrator to send messages such as announcements to user devices as push notifications. This would eventually increase user knowledge and interaction with the activities going on in their respective places of worship. © 2019 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.Conference Object Design and Fabrication of Dual-Frequency H-Shaped Antenna;(2013) Dagdeviren,B.; Yavuz Kapusuz,K.; Can,S.; Aydin,E.In this study, the parameters that effects the operating frequency of dual frequency H-shaped antenna are examined. These parameters are determined as type of the dielectric constant of substrate, substrate thickness, dimensions of the antenna and dimensions of the slots that are used to obtain shape of H. The produced and simulated results of the proposed antennas are presented and compared with the studies in literature. © 2013 IEEE.Conference Object Citation - Scopus: 34Improving Text Classification With Transformer(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2021) Soyalp,G.; Alar,A.; Ozkanli,K.; Yildiz,B.Huge amounts of text data are produced every day. Processing text data that accumulates and grows exponentially every day requires the use of appropriate automation tools. Text classification, a Natural Language Processing task, has the potential to provide automatic text data processing. Many new models have been proposed to achieve much better results in text classification. The transformer model has been introduced recently to provide superior performance in terms of accuracy and processing speed in deep learning. In this article, we propose an improved Transformer model for text classification. The dataset containing information about the books was collected from an online resource and used to train the models. We witnessed superior performance in our proposed Transformer model compared to previous state-of-art models such as L S T M and CNN. © 2021 IEEEConference Object Citation - WoS: 86Citation - Scopus: 95Enhancement of Pem Fuel Cell Performance at Higher Temperatures and Lower Humidities by High Performance Membrane Electrode Assembly Based on Nafion/Zeolite Membrane(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2015) Devrim, Yilser; Albostan, AyhanThis work reports the preparation of Nafion/zeolite composite membranes with different zeolite loading. The structure of the Nafion/zeolite composite membranes are investigated by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The introduction of zeolite particles into the Nafion matrix helps to improve the water uptake, proton conductivity and thermal stability of the nanocomposite membranes compared to the virgin Nafion membrane. The SEM analyses have proved the uniform and homogeneous distribution of zeolite in composite membranes. The composite membranes are tested in a single PEMFC with a 5 cm(2) active area operating at the temperature range of 75-120 degrees C and in humidified under 50% relative humidity (RH) and fully humidified conditions. Single PEMFC tests show that Nafion/zeolite composite membrane is more stable and also performed better than virgin Nafion membrane at low humidity condition. The results indicate the Nafion/zeolite composite membranes could be utilized as the proton exchange membranes for PEMFC. Copyright (C) 2015, Hydrogen Energy Publications, LLC.
