Department Department of Computer Engineering(2002)Master program of Computer Engineering Department which was launched in February 2002 is one of the two oldest programs of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences. The program has thesis and non-thesis master options. With the advantage of having highly qualified faculty members, our master program not only gives fundamental high level courses but also attaches importance to the advances in information and communication technologies. Almost all of the courses were designed to meet expectations of the industry and focus on the latest technological developments. It is also continuously being updated considering the needs of the local industry in this respect. Additionally, our program gives high priority to increase the research potential of its students.Department Public Finance(2015)As an interdisciplinary area powered by economy, law and accounting, “The Department of Finance” aims to train experts in the field with unique courses such as “Public Finance”, “Turkish Tax System” and “Budgeting and Public Funding”. Atılım University opened the Department of Financing in the academic year of 2015-2016, becoming the first foundation university to open the department. With our competent staff, our Department grew and ranked the 6th in the list of department base points in its field. Thesis and non-thesis Finance - Tax Graduate Programs, started in 2019, constitute the first department under a such name with the aim to offer studies in the field of tax. We see Finance as a state tradition, and as a social science that shall always follow the changing era. As long as states take loans, and takes are collected, there will be a need for well-equipped experts of Finance.Department Department of Physiotherapy and RehabilitationThe Turkish-Medium Graduate Degree Program in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation is one of the first thesis graduate degree programs to start under Atılım University Graduate School of Health Sciences. The program is in Turkish. In order to register to the program, candidates are required to hold an undergraduate degree diploma in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, and meet the graduate degree education application criteria of Atılım University Graduate School of Health Sciences.Department Department of BusinessIn parallel to our vision and mission statements, we offer graduate programs in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Management fields, either in Turkish or English as medium of instruction. We also offer online Master’s programs to students who cannot attend to our full-time programs.Department Department of Information Systems EngineeringInformation Technology (IT) is a pioneering and innovative educational program prepared in cooperation with IBM to educate human resources to meet our country's growing and changing information technologies requirements and expectations. IT Master's Program is going to eliminate the deficit of information specialist in the sector. The main purpose of the program is to teach the processes of information technology analysis, design, development and management with modern methods and tools and to provide and encourage leadership skills for the management of these processes. For this purpose, the curriculum of the program includes courses on IT Service Management, Cloud Computing, Virtualization, Service-Oriented Architecture, Business Process Modeling, Data and Network Security, Network Management, IT Strategy Planning and Governance, IT Economy and e-Commerce. Graduate program improves students' skills and abilities on critical thinking, written and oral communication, team working, and doing a scientific research with application of a variety of instructional methods and techniques. In this way, we also would like to add to the cumulative knowledge level in the world and contribute to the development of our own country. They perceive user needs in depth through empathy and apply a pragmatic, user-centered problem solving process to design products, systems, services and experiences. They are the strategic shareholders of the innovation process and are in a unique position to bridge the gap between various professional disciplines and commercial interests. They value the economic, social and environmental effects of their work, as well as its contributions in the creation of a better quality of life. Founded in 2009, our department offers mandatory professional courses, technical courses and professional elective courses to prepare our students to become well-equipped and competitive in their business life.Department Department of Social Sciences for University wide CoursesOur department offers compulsory courses “Turkish Language” and “Principles of Atatürk and History of Turkish Revolution” as envisaged by the Council of Higher Education as well as History of Civilization course to all the students at our university. Along with these compulsory courses, the department offers general elective courses comprising subjects such as social responsibility tasks, Women studies, culture and history. The purpose of compulsory Principles of Ataturk and History of Turkish Revolution course is to introduce and convey the foundation and fundamental values of the Republic of Turkey to the new generations and the objective of Turkish Language course is to study on our language with modern methods within the scope of the subjects such as language, literature, culture etc.
