Discussion on Α - Ψ Contractions on Generalized Metric Spaces
    (Hindawi Ltd, 2014) Karapinar, Erdal
We discuss the existence and uniqueness of fixed points of alpha - psi contractive mappings in complete generalized metric spaces, introduced by Branciari. Our results generalize and improve several results in the literature.

Some Nonunique Fixed Point Theorems of Ciric Type on Cone Metric Spaces
(Hindawi Publishing Corporation, 2010) Karapinar, Erdal
Some results of (Ciric, 1974) on a nonunique fixed point theorem on the class of metric spaces are extended to the class of cone metric spaces. Namely, nonunique fixed point theorem is proved in orbitally T complete cone metric spaces under the assumption that the cone is strongly minihedral. Regarding the scalar weight of cone metric, we are able to remove the assumption of strongly minihedral.

A Short Survey on Dislocated Metric Spaces Via Fixed-Point Theory
    (Springer Singapore, 2017) Karapinar,E.
In this survey, we collect and combine basic notions and results for the fixed points of certain operators in the frame of dislocated metric (respectively, b-metric) spaces. By preparing a fundamental source, we shall aim to show that there are some rooms for researchers in this interesting and applicable research direction. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2017. Fixed Points Results for Α -Admissible Mapping of Integral Type on Generalized Metric Spaces
    (Hindawi Publishing Corporation, 2015) Karapinar,E.
We introduce generalized (α,ψ)-contractive mappings of integral type in the context of generalized metric spaces. The results of this paper generalize and improve several results on the topic in literature. © 2015 Erdal Karapinar.

Fixed Point Theorems in Cone Banach Spaces
(Springer international Publishing Ag, 2009) Karapinar, Erdal; Abdeljawad, Thabet; Tas, Kenan
In this manuscript, a class of self-mappings on cone Banach spaces which have at least one fixed point is considered. More precisely, for a closed and convex subset C of a cone Banach space with the norm parallel to x parallel to(P) = d(x, 0), if there exist a, b, s and T : C -> C satisfies the conditions 0 <= s + vertical bar a vertical bar - 2b < 2(a + b) and 4ad(Tx, Ty) + b(d(x, Tx) + d(y, Ty)) <= sd(x, y) for all x, y is an element of C, then T has at least one Fixed point.
