E.; Mustak, O.; Simsir, C.In this study, the material dataset presented in part I of this article is validated at industrial scale in batch through-hardening of bearing races. The material dataset acquired is implemented in a commercial heat treatment simulation software. Heat transfer coefficients for the oil and salt bath are determined by using a commercial standard quench probe. Zone temperatures and transfer times of the roller-belt furnace are measured directly from the system. Through-hardening of inner ring (IR) of 6813 bearing in oil and salt bath is simulated considering most of the industrial details. Finally, predicted dimensional changes are compared with the coordinate measurement results and a good agreement is achieved. It is concluded that determined material and process data, idealizations and simulation procedure can be considered "validated" for further improvement of the industrial process.Article Citation - WoS: 13Citation - Scopus: 14The Effect of Strain Rate on the Hydrogen Embrittlement Susceptibility of Aluminum 7075(Asme, 2023) Baltacioglu, Mehmet Furkan; Cetin, Baris; Bal, BurakThe effects of changing the strain rate regime from quasi-static to medium on hydrogen susceptibility of aluminum (Al) 7075 were investigated using tensile tests. Strain rates were selected as 1 s(-1) and 10(-3) s(-1) and tensile tests were conducted on both hydrogen uncharged and hydrogen charged specimens at room temperature. Electrochemical hydrogen charging method was utilized and the diffusion length of hydrogen inside Al 7075 was modeled. Material characterizations were carried out by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and microstructural observations of hydrogen uncharged and hydrogen charged specimens were performed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). As opposed to earlier studies, hydrogen embrittlement (HE) was more pronounced at high strain rate cases. Moreover, hydrogen enhanced localized plasticity (HELP) was the more dominant hydrogen embrittlement mechanism at slower strain rate but coexistence of hydrogen enhanced localized plasticity and hydrogen enhanced decohesion was observed at a medium strain rate. Successful phishing attack may result into financial loss and identity theft. Identifying forensic characteristics of phishing attack can help to detect the attack and its perpetuators and as well as to enable defence against it. To shield internet users from phishing assaults, numerous anti-phishing models have been proposed. Currently employed techniques to handle these challenges are not sufficient and capable enough. We aim at identifying phishing sites in order to guard internet users from being vulnerable to any form of phishing attacks by verifying the conceptual and literal consistency between the uniform resource locator (URL) and the web content. The implementation of the proposed PhishDetect method achieves an accuracy of 99.1%; indicating that it is effective in detecting various forms of phishing attacks. © 2020 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.. By exacerbating negative affect and emotion dysregulation, poor sleep and insomnia can contribute to the initiation and maintenance of mental disorders. The aim of this cross-sectional study was to investigate the relationship between insomnia severity and overall psychiatric symptoms (anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, somatization, phobic anxiety, hostility, interpersonal sensitivity, paranoid ideation, and psychoticism), and the mediational roles of worry and rumination in this relationship. Method: The data was collected from a community sample of 1444 participants (females 69.39%, M-age=27.95, SD=9.37) who completed self-report measures of insomnia severity, worry, rumination, and psychiatric symptoms. The mediational roles of worry and rumination were tested with mediation analysis using the PROCESS Macro. Results: It was found that insomnia severity (beta=0.20, p<.001) significantly predicted psychiatric symptoms directly and via worry and rumination (beta=0.33, p<.001), meaning that worry and rumination partially mediated the relationship between insomnia severity and psychiatric symptoms. The findings were similar after controlling for smoking status, daily screen time, coffee consumption in the evening, weekly exercise frequency, and pre-sleep screen time. Conclusions: Interventions targeting the reduction of insomnia severity and maladaptive emotion regulation strategies (e.g., worry and rumination), as well as the enhancement of adaptive emotion regulation strategies (e.g., positive refocusing and mindfulness), may alleviate the adverse effects of insomnia on psychiatric symptoms.Article Citation - WoS: 3Citation - Scopus: 4A New Class of Generalized Contraction Using p-functions in Ordered Metric Spaces(Sciendo, 2015) Amor, Sana Hadj; Karapinar, Erdal; Kumam, PoomIn this paper, we introduced and studied a new class of mappings in ordered metric spaces that is inspired from the concept of a P-function introduced in Chaipunya et. al. The new nanocatalyst system comprised of ruthenium(0) nanoparticles supported on the Keggin type polyoxometalate (POM; K-3[PMo12O40]) network (Ru/POM) can simply and reproducibly be prepared by the dimethylamine-borane ((CH3)(2)NHBH3) reduction of ruthenium(III) chloride trihydrate (RuCl3.3H(2)O) in isopropanol solution of K-3[P Mo12O40] at room temperature. The characterization of Ru/POM by the combination of various analytical techniques reveals that the formation of well-dispersed ruthenium(0) nanoparticles with a mean diameter of 4.7 +/- 1.2nm on the surface of POM network structure. This new Ru/POM nanocatalyst displays remarkable activity (TOF=7.5mol VAld/mol Ru x h) at high selectivity (> 98%) and almost complete conversion (98%) in the aerobic oxidation of VA to VAld under mild conditions.
