The present metric 'Schema Entropy is based on entropy concept and intended to measure the complexity of the schema documents written in W3C XML Schema Language due to diversity in the structures of its elements. The SE is useful in evaluating the efficiency of the design of Schemas. A good design reduces the maintainability efforts. Therefore, our metric provides valuable information about the reliability and maintainability of systems. In this respect, this metric is believed to be a valuable contribution for improving the quality of XML-based systems. K.In this study, the effects of Au nanosheets of thicknesses of 50 nm on the structural, electrical and photoelectrical properties of Yb/ZnS/CdS/Au (ZAC-0) devices is considered. Stacked layers of ZnS and CdS which are prepared by the thermal evaporation technique onto Yb substrates under vacuum pressure of 10(-5) mbar exhibits rectifying characteristics. For these diodes a reverse to forward current ratios of similar to 10(5) at biasing voltage of 0.60 V is determined. Insertion of Au nanosheets between the stacked layers of ZnS and CdS increased the current values by three orders of magnitude and changed the current conduction mechanism from thermionic emission to tunneling under reverse biasing conditions. The ZAC-0 device, exhibit a barrier height lowering and barrier widening upon insertion of Au nanosheets. After the participation of Au nanosheets in the structure of the ZAC-0 devices, large photosensitivity and responsivity accompanied with high external quantum efficiency is observed. The responsivity to 406 nm laser radiation is biasing voltage dependent and reaches 135 mA/W at 0.60 V. Damage-induced responses seen in the muscle after eccentric exercise usually experienced by sedentary individuals. This study aims to investigate muscle damage on different slopes. Methods: 32 male Wistar albino rats randomly divided into four groups: sedentary, horizontal running, and eccentric exercise (-8 degrees, -16 degrees) groups. Animals ran for 90 min with the speed of 25 m/s for five days. After 48h from the last exercise, rats were sacrificed, and plasma creatine kinase (CK), heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) levels were examined. Plasma and soleus total oxidant/antioxidant status (TOS-TAS) and histological changes of soleus muscle assessed. Results: CK and HSP70 significantly increased in 16 degrees EE group. TOS increased at 16 degrees EE and 8 degrees EE, but oxidative stress index (OSI) was only high at 8 degrees EE group. Mononuclear cell infiltration and the angiogenesis increased in soleus after eccentric exercise, and there was a correlation with slope. Sarcomere breaks were detected in 16 degrees EE group also in a correlation with slope. Conclusions: Consequently, sedentary individuals are vulnerable to injuries induced by eccentric contraction. Therefore, our study provides information for reconsidering rehabilitation and training programs.Article ÖSTENİTLEME SICAKLIĞININ EN-GJS-600-3 KÜRESEL GRAFİTLİ DÖKME DEMİRİN ÖSTEMPERLENME DAVRANIŞINA ETKİLERİNİN ARAŞTIRILMASI(2020) Konca, Erkan; Tur, K ZımBu çalışmada östenitleme sıcaklığının EN-GJS-600-3 (GGG-60) küresel grafitli dökme demirinöstemperlenme davranışına etkisi araştırılmıştır. Y bloklarına dökülen % 0,5 Cu alaşımlı EN-GJS-600-3küresel grafitli dökme demirden çıkarılan numuneler kullanılarak iki farklı östenitleme sıcaklığı (850 ve950°C) ve iki farklı östemperleme sıcaklığının (290 ve 320°C) dört ayrı kombinasyonunda östemperlemedeneyleri yapılmıştır. Östemperleme deneyleri sonrası numunelerin sertlik ölçümleri, çekme testleri ve içyapı incelemeleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Her iki östemperleme sıcaklığında da 950°C’de östenitlenmişnumunelerde 850°C’de östenitlenmiş numunelere göre daha yüksek sertlik, akma ve çekme dayanımıdeğerlerine ulaşılmıştır. Bu sonuçlar, 950°C’de yapılan östenitlemenin 850°C’ye göre östenit matris içindehem daha çok karbonun çözünmesini hem de östenitin daha iri taneli olmasını sağlayaraköstemperlenmeye daha elverişli östenit yapısı oluşturabilmesiyle ilişkilendirilmiştir.Article Effect of Hydrogen Sulfide on Ileum and Colon Motility in Experimental Model of Peritonitis in Rats(Asian Network Scientific information-ansinet, 2024) Tuncer, Evren; Yildirim, SahinBackground and Objective: Studies investigating the association of H2S and nitric oxide signaling with intestinal motility in peritonitis are limited. The objective of this study was to explore how H2S influences the motility of the ileum and colon within an experimental peritonitis model. Materials and Methods: Three groups with 6 Wistar albino rats in each were used: Group 1 (Control), Group 2 (Peritonitis) and Group 3 (Sham). The experiment involved inducing contractions using either carbachol or electrical field stimulation (EFS) and relaxation responses are recorded upon the addition of L-cysteine, DL-PAG or NaHS, irrespective of whether L-NAME was added or not. Shapiro-Wilk Francia test, Levene test and Independent -Samples-t tests were used for the statistical analysis. Results: After induction with EFS or after pre-contraction with carbachol, relaxation rate (%) with NaHS was higher than relaxation rates (%) with L-cysteine and DL-PAG in the colon for all groups. The relaxation with NaHS was similar in all ileum groups after induction with EFS (p = 0.073), but in Group 2, responses were higher (p = 0.003 and p<0.001). The L-NAME did reveal a significant change in the presence of NaHS after precontraction either with carbachol or EFS in the colon for all groups (p<0.05). Conclusion: The NaHS induced significantly greater relaxation in the colon and it was more effective in the Peritonitis groups. The addition of L-NAME did result in a critical response with NaHS, after pre-contraction with carbachol in the colon Peritonitis group. Social media has emerged as an alternative or a developed version of traditional media. In this respect, journalism is obliged to keep up with the new technology. Social media has become an effective platform for information and news sharing. Traditional understanding of news values and newsworthiness has been reconstructed within this period. Concepts such as share, like, comment, etc. have become significant for news values and newsworthiness in digital age. In this context, this study aims to find out how news values have changed on social media by focusing on Instagram. To this end, three newspapers, which have highest circulations in Turkey were sampled over a one-month period. Content analysis was selected as research technique. Based on research questions, three-step analysis was conducted. The findings were discussed in the conclusion. A new term - insta-worthiness - is suggested in this study to clarify the main components of news values on Instagram.Article Citation - WoS: 5Measurement of Solar Radiation in Ankara, Turkey(Turkish Soc thermal Sciences Technology, 2013) Caglar, Ahmet; Yamali, Cemil; Baker, Derek K.; Kaftanoglu, BilginThe solar energy potential of Ankara, Turkey, (39.89 degrees N, 32.78 degrees E) has been investigated using the measurements of global and beam radiation over the period May 2008 to May 2009. Surface air temperature was also measured and variation in clearness index evaluated over this period. Global and beam radiations have been analyzed using hourly, daily and monthly averages obtained from 1-minute averages of recorded data. Results show that annual average daily global and beam radiations were 17.04 and 15.72 MJ/m(2)/day, respectively, for this period. The results are compared with the data available for several other cities in Turkey. The study shows that Ankara has a large solar potential. The consistency of these data with that from the State Meteorological Service (SMS) weather station in Ankara was analyzed. Significant differences between these 2 stations were found and are attributed to measurement error at the SMS station. Tüpün elastisite modülünün ve akma dayanımının radyal koordinat boyunca lineer olmayan formda değiştikleri varsayılmıştır. Von Mises akma kriteri kullanılarak, fonksiyonel derecelendirme parametrelerinin tüpteki plastik akmanın başlangıcına etkileri incelenmiş, akmanın bu parametrelere bağlı olarak her iki basınç durumu için de önce iç yüzeyden, önce dış yüzeyden, ya da her iki yüzeyden de aynı anda başlayabileceği gözlenmiştir.
