Department Department of Computer Engineering(2002)Master program of Computer Engineering Department which was launched in February 2002 is one of the two oldest programs of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences. The program has thesis and non-thesis master options. With the advantage of having highly qualified faculty members, our master program not only gives fundamental high level courses but also attaches importance to the advances in information and communication technologies. Almost all of the courses were designed to meet expectations of the industry and focus on the latest technological developments. It is also continuously being updated considering the needs of the local industry in this respect. Additionally, our program gives high priority to increase the research potential of its students.Department Business (English)(2002)We are a department that has been active for 22 years with the goal to determine the structural changes in economy and the problems of general business administration, to develop problem solving skills and to devise modelling techniques that fit our aims. Among our cornerstones are to graduate more students into administrative positions of our institutions, to help them realize their inner potential to be go-getters, to prepare them for the entrance exams for high-tier, well-respected public positions, and to help them participate graduate and doctorate degree programs at ease, nationally or internationally. In this regard, our course curriculum is constantly subject to updates. In addition, we do all in our power to graduate students that stand out, with double-major program opportunities. The Department offers students the opportunity to obtain a certificate in Mathematical Finance or Cryptography, aside from their undergraduate diploma. Our students may obtain a diploma secondary to their diploma in Mathematics with the Double-Major Program; as well as a certificate in their minor alongside their diploma in Mathematics through the Minor Program. Our graduates may pursue a career in academics at universities, as well as be hired in sectors such as finance, education, banking, and informatics. Our Department has been accredited by the evaluation and accreditation organization FEDEK for a duration of 5 years (until September 30th, 2025), the maximum FEDEK accreditation period achievable. Our Department is globally and nationally among the leading Mathematics departments with a program that suits international standards and a qualified academic staff; even more so for the last five years with our rankings in the field rankings of URAP, THE, USNEWS and WEBOFMETRIC.Department Nutrition and Dietetics(2017)Student admission to the Atılım University Department of Nutrition and Dietetics started in 2017. Our Department is the only academic institution to offer undergraduate-level education completely in English in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics in Ankara. The studies of our department may be classified into two main categories; education and research. The current education programs are offered taking into consideration the awareness of the responsibility in offering a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics; by competent instructors in the field, and with an inter-disciplinary approach. Our aim for the future alumni of our undergraduate program is to undertake their responsibilities in the light of their information with a professional insight, and the confidence to constantly update themselves at hospitals, polyclinics, public health centers, ministries, catering institutions, food companies, universities and such where they may be employed in positions such as health care professionals, academicians, researchers, directors or policy makers.Department Department of International Relations(1997)Our Department has grown steadily since its establishment in the academic year of 1997 and 1998 both in terms of the numbers of graduate programs as well as the student intake. I am proud of saying that we now have three fully-fledged graduate studies offering programmes in English, Turkish or both. Currently, we have International Relations MA Programme in both Turkish and English and European Union MA Programme in Turkish.Department Industrial Design(2009)World Design Organization, of which we are an institutional member, defines industrial design in a nutshell as “a trans-disciplinary profession that harnesses creativity to resolve problems and co-create solutions with the intent of making a product, system, service, experience or a business, better.” Industrial designers place people at the heart of the process. They perceive user needs in depth through empathy and apply a pragmatic, user-centered problem solving process to design products, systems, services and experiences. They are the strategic shareholders of the innovation process and are in a unique position to bridge the gap between various professional disciplines and commercial interests. They value the economic, social and environmental effects of their work, as well as its contributions in the creation of a better quality of life. Founded in 2009, our department offers mandatory professional courses, technical courses and professional elective courses to prepare our students to become well-equipped and competitive in their business life.Department Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation(2017)Atılım University Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation opened in 2017. Our Department is among the few to offer a 4-year education in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation 100% in English. Physiotherapy aims to develop, sustain and restore maximum range of movement and functional abilities of people. Physiotherapists aid people at any stage of life when their movement and functions are affected due to factors such as ageing, injuries, diseases, disorders or environmental factors. Leaning heavily on practice, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation education is offered by our faculty members as experts in their fields and in clinical case simulations. Our program involves summer applications and clinical practice to develop the clinical skills of our students as future physiotherapists.The required studies are currently underway to initiate Graduate Degree education in General Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at our University.
