In this paper we investigate the behaviour of the positive solutions of the system of rational difference equation x(n) = a/y(n-3), y(n) = by(n-3)/x(n-q)Y(n-q), n = 1, 2,..., where q > 3 is a positive integer with 3 inverted iota q, a and b are positive constants and tile initial values x(-q+1),x(-q+2),...,x0, Y-q+1,y(-q+2),...,y(0) are positive real numbers. Existence of Positive Solutions of a Sturm-Liouville Bvp on an Unbounded Time Scale

A fixed point theorem of Guo-Krasnoselskii type is used to establish existence results for the nonlinear Sturm-Liouville dynamic equation (p(t)x(Delta))(del) + lambda phi(t)f(t,x(t)) = 0 with the boundary conditions on an unbounded time scale. Later on the positivity and the boundedness of the solutions are obtained by imposing some conditions on f.
