By exacerbating negative affect and emotion dysregulation, poor sleep and insomnia can contribute to the initiation and maintenance of mental disorders. The aim of this cross-sectional study was to investigate the relationship between insomnia severity and overall psychiatric symptoms (anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, somatization, phobic anxiety, hostility, interpersonal sensitivity, paranoid ideation, and psychoticism), and the mediational roles of worry and rumination in this relationship. Method: The data was collected from a community sample of 1444 participants (females 69.39%, M-age=27.95, SD=9.37) who completed self-report measures of insomnia severity, worry, rumination, and psychiatric symptoms. The mediational roles of worry and rumination were tested with mediation analysis using the PROCESS Macro. Results: It was found that insomnia severity (beta=0.20, p<.001) significantly predicted psychiatric symptoms directly and via worry and rumination (beta=0.33, p<.001), meaning that worry and rumination partially mediated the relationship between insomnia severity and psychiatric symptoms. The findings were similar after controlling for smoking status, daily screen time, coffee consumption in the evening, weekly exercise frequency, and pre-sleep screen time. Conclusions: Interventions targeting the reduction of insomnia severity and maladaptive emotion regulation strategies (e.g., worry and rumination), as well as the enhancement of adaptive emotion regulation strategies (e.g., positive refocusing and mindfulness), may alleviate the adverse effects of insomnia on psychiatric symptoms.Conference Object Citation - WoS: 2Object-Oriented Inheritance Metrics: Cognitive Complexity Perspective(Springer-verlag Berlin, 2009) Mishra, Deepti; Mishra, AlokIdentifying high cognitive complexity modules can lead to a better quality software system and can help during maintenance also. The new nanocatalyst system comprised of ruthenium(0) nanoparticles supported on the Keggin type polyoxometalate (POM; K-3[PMo12O40]) network (Ru/POM) can simply and reproducibly be prepared by the dimethylamine-borane ((CH3)(2)NHBH3) reduction of ruthenium(III) chloride trihydrate (RuCl3.3H(2)O) in isopropanol solution of K-3[P Mo12O40] at room temperature. The characterization of Ru/POM by the combination of various analytical techniques reveals that the formation of well-dispersed ruthenium(0) nanoparticles with a mean diameter of 4.7 +/- 1.2nm on the surface of POM network structure. The effects of discharge current, pulse on-time, pulse off-time, and servo voltage on the performance of this process, including MRR, white layer thickness, surface roughness, and micro-hardness of the machined surface, were investigated by multi-regression analysis using response surface methodology (RSM). It is obtained by using cavity model analysis and useful to antenna engineers for accurately predicting both operating resonant frequencies of the SLTP. The theory is compared with the experimental results available in the literature, and excellent agreement is observed. The article finds a positive relationship between production fragmentation and air transportation. The study also finds that air transportation is more likely to be chosen for high-value products. M.The extrinsic electronic parameters of Tl2InGaSe4 layered crystals were investigated through measurement of the temperature-dependent dark conductivity, space-charge-limited currents and photoconductivity. Analysis of the dark conductivity reveals the existence of two extrinsic energy levels at 0.40 and 0.51 eV below the conduction band edge, which are dominant above and below 260 K, respectively. Current-voltage characteristics show that the one at 0.51 eV is a trapping energy level with a concentration of (4.8-7.7) x 10(10) cm(3). Photoconductivity measurements reveal the existence of another energy level located at 0.16 eV. In the studied temperature range, the photocurrent increases with increasing temperature. The dependence of the photoconductivity on the incident light intensity exhibits a linear recombination character near room temperature and a supralinear character as the temperature decreases. The change in recombination mechanism is attributed to an exchange in the behavior of sensitizing and recombination centres.
