In the calculation three point QCD sum rules method is applied and the value of the coupling constant for the considered vertex is obtained as gD*(2) D pi = (12.72 +/- 3.56) GeV-1.The result of the calculation is also utilized in the decay width and branching ratio calculations of the considered transition.
