Interpolative Reich-Rus Type Contractions on Partial Metric Spaces
(Mdpi, 2018) Karapinar, Erdal; Agarwal, Ravi; Aydi, Hassen
By giving a counter-example, we point out a gap in the paper by Karapinar (Adv. Theory Nonlinear Anal. Its Appl. 2018, 2, 85-87) where the given fixed point may be not unique and we present the corrected version. We also state the celebrated fixed point theorem of Reich-Rus-Ciric in the framework of complete partial metric spaces, by taking the interpolation theory into account. Some examples are provided where the main result in papers by Reich (Can. Math. Bull. 1971, 14, 121-124; Boll. Unione Mat. Ital. 1972, 4, 26-42 and Boll. Unione Mat. Ital. 1971, 4, 1-11.) is not applicable.

Generalized Meir-Keeler Type Contractions on g-metric Spaces
(Elsevier Science inc, 2013) Mustafa, Zead; Aydi, Hassen; Karapinar, Erdal
In this manuscript, we introduce generalized Meir-Keeler type contractions over G-metric spaces. Moreover, we show that every orbitally continuous generalized Meir-Keeler type contraction has a unique fixed point on complete G-metric spaces. We illustrate our results by some given examples. On Common Fixed Points in g-metric Spaces Using (e.a) Property
(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2012) Mustafa, Zead; Aydi, Hassen; Karapinar, Erdal
In this paper, we introduce some new types of pairs of mappings (f, g) on G-metric spaces called G-weakly commuting of type G(f) and G-R-weakly commuting of type G(f). We obtain also several common fixed point results by using the (E.A) property. (c) 2012 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Couple fixed point theorems for nonlinear contractions in cone metric spaces
(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2010) Karapinar, Erdal
The notion of coupled fixed point is introduced by Bhaskar and Lakshmikantham (2006) in [13]. In this manuscript, some results of Lakshmikantham and Ciric (2009) in [5] are extended to the class of cone metric spaces. (C) 2010 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Fixed Point Results on Perturbed B-Metric Space
(Univ Belgrade, Fac Electrical Engineering, 2025) Karapinar, Erdal
In this paper, we introduce the notion of perturbed b-metric spaces and consider some basic topological notions on this new abstract structure. In addition, we shall discuss the existing and uniqueness of a fixed point in the setting of perturbed b-metric spaces.

Fixed Point Results in Orbitally Complete Partial Metric Spaces
(Malaysian Mathematical Sciences Soc, 2013) Nashine, Hemant Kumar; Karapinar, Erdal
In this paper, we prove two fixed point theorems for maps that satisfy a contraction principle involving a rational expression in complete partial metric spaces.

Some unique fixed point theorems for rational contractions in partially ordered metric spaces
(Springeropen, 2013) Arshad, Muhammad; Karapinar, Erdal; Ahmad, Jamshaid
In this paper, we prove some unique fixed point results for an operator T satisfying certain rational contraction condition in a partially ordered metric space. Our results generalize the main result of Jaggi (Indian J. Pure Appl. Math. 8(2):223-230, 1977). We give several examples to show that our results are proper generalization of the existing one. Fixed Point Theorems in New Generalized Metric Spaces
(Springer Basel Ag, 2016) Karapinar, Erdal; Karapınar, Erdal; O'Regan, Donal; Roldan Lopez de Hierro, Antonio Francisco; Shahzad, Naseer; Karapınar, Erdal; Mathematics; Mathematics
The aim of our paper is to present new fixed point theorems under very general contractive conditions in generalized metric spaces which were recently introduced by Jleli and Samet in [Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2015 (2015), doi:10.1186/s13663-015-0312-7]. Although these spaces are not endowed with a triangle inequality, these spaces extend some well known abstract metric spaces (for example, b-metric spaces, Hitzler-Seda metric spaces, modular spaces with the Fatou property, etc.). We handle several types of contractive conditions. The main theorems we present involve a reflexive and transitive binary relation that is not necessarily a partial order. We give a counterexample to a recent fixed point result of Jleli and Samet. Our results extend and unify recent results in the context of partially ordered abstract metric spaces.

Fixed Point Theorems for Mappings With a Contractive Iterate at a Point in Modular Metric Spaces
(House Book Science-casa Cartii Stiinta, 2022) Karapinar, Erdal; Aksoy, Umit; Fulga, Andreea; Erhan, Inci M.
In this manuscript, we introduce two new types of contraction, namely, w-contraction and strong Sehgal w-contraction, in the framework of modular metric spaces. We indicate that under certain assumptions, such mappings possess a unique fixed point. For the sake of completeness, we consider examples and an application to matrix equations.

Some Results on S-contractions of Type e
(Mdpi, 2018) Fulga, Andreea; Karapinar, Erdal
In this manuscript, we consider the compositions of simulation functions and E-contraction in the setting of a complete metric space. We investigate the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point for this composite form. We give some illustrative examples and provide an application.
