(Univ Nis, Fac Sci Math, 2012) Karapinar, Erdal; Karapınar, Erdal; Shobkolaei, Nabi; Sedghi, Shaban; Vaezpour, S. Mansour; Karapınar, Erdal; Mathematics; Mathematics
In this paper, we prove a common fixed point theorem for two self-mappings satisfying certain conditions over the class of partial metric spaces. In particular, the main theorem of this manuscript extends some well-known fixed point theorems in the literature on this topic.

On Common Best Proximity Points for Generalized Α - Ψ-Proximal Contractions
(int Scientific Research Publications, 2016) Aydi, Hassen; Felhi, Abdelbasset; Karapinar, Erdal
We establish some common best proximity point results for generalized alpha - psi-proximal contractive non -self mappings. We provide some concrete examples. We also derive some consequences on some best proximity results on a metric space endowed with a graph. (C) 2016 All rights reserved.

Common Fixed Points for Single-Valued and Multi-Valued Maps Satisfying a Generalized Contraction in -Metric Spaces
(Springer int Publ Ag, 2012) Tahat, Nedal; Aydi, Hassen; Karapinar, Erdal; Shatanawi, Wasfi
In this article, we establish some common fixed point theorems for a hybrid pair {} of single valued and multi-valued maps satisfying a generalized contractive condition defined on -metric spaces. Our results unify, generalize and complement various known comparable results from the current literature. 54H25; 47H10; 54E50.

Common Fixed Point Theorem for Three Mappings in Banach Valued Norm Spaces
(Gazi Univ, 2013) Karapinar, Erdal; Moradlou, Fridoun; Salimi, Peyman; Mathematics
In this paper, we give a generalized theorem on point of coincidence and common fixed point for three weakly compatible mappings in Banach valued norm spaces. We give a new method for construction of the sequence, which is convergence to the common fixed point of these three mappings.

    Remark on p-d< Operator
(Chiang Mai Univ, Fac Science, 2017) Gopal, Dhananjay; Karapinar, Erdal
In this short communication, we show that P-D, operator fall in the class of weakly compatible (respectively, occasionally weakly compatible) in the presence of a unique common fixed point (respectively, multiple common fixed points) of the given maps.

Sehgal Type Contractions on b-Metric Space
(Mdpi, 2018) Alqahtani, Badr; Fulga, Andreea; Karapinar, Erdal
In this paper, we analyze two discontinuous self-mappings that satisfy Sehgal-type inequalities in the setup of complete b-metric space. The main results of the paper cover and extend a few existing results in the corresponding literature. Furthermore, we give some illustrative examples to verify the effectiveness and strength of our derived results. Thereafter, as an application, we consider the obtained result to aggregate the existence and uniqueness of the solution for nonlinear Fredholm integral equations.

On Common Fixed Points in the Context of Brianciari Metric Spaces
(Springer Basel Ag, 2017) Aydi, Hassen; Karapinar, Erdal; Zhang, Dong
In this paper, we introduce the concept of generalized ()-contractions and generalized ()-Meir-Keeler-contractions in the setting of Brianciari metric spaces. We prove some common fixed point results for such contractions. An example is presented making effective the new concepts and results.

On common fixed points that belong to the zero set of a certain function
(int Scientific Research Publications, 2017) Karapinar, Erdal; Samet, Bessem; Shahi, Priya
We provide sufficient conditions under which the set of common fixed points of two self-mappings f, g : X -> X is nonempty, and every common fixed point of f and g is the zero of a given function phi : X -> [0, infinity). Next, we show the usefulness of our obtained result in partial metric fixed point theory. (C) 2017 All rights reserved.

A Note on Common Fixed Point Theorems in Partial Metric Spaces
(Univ Miskolc inst Math, 2011) Karapinar, Erdal
In this manuscript, we consider the notion of generalized Sehgal contraction condition in a partial metric space. For the pair of two self mappings (S, T) which satisfies Sehgal contraction condition, we obtain a unique common fixed point.

Common Fixed Point of Generalized Rational Type Contraction Mappings in Partially Ordered Metric Spaces
(Chiang Mai Univ, Fac Science, 2013) Chandok, Sumit; Karapinar, Erdal; Mathematics
Some common fixed point results for generalized weak contractive condition satisfying rational type expressions in the frame work of partially ordered metric spaces are obtained. The proved results generalize and extend some known results in the literature.
