On Common Fixed Points in g-metric Spaces Using (e.a) Property
(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2012) Mustafa, Zead; Aydi, Hassen; Karapinar, Erdal
In this paper, we introduce some new types of pairs of mappings (f, g) on G-metric spaces called G-weakly commuting of type G(f) and G-R-weakly commuting of type G(f). We obtain also several common fixed point results by using the (E.A) property. (c) 2012 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Couple fixed point theorems for nonlinear contractions in cone metric spaces
(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2010) Karapinar, Erdal
The notion of coupled fixed point is introduced by Bhaskar and Lakshmikantham (2006) in [13]. In this manuscript, some results of Lakshmikantham and Ciric (2009) in [5] are extended to the class of cone metric spaces. (C) 2010 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Generalized (c)-conditions and Related Fixed Point Theorems
(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2011) Karapinar, Erdal; Tas, Kenan
In this manuscript, the notion of C-condition [K. Suzuki, Fixed point theorems and convergence theorems for some generalized nonexpansive mappings, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 340 (2008) 1088-1095] is generalized. Some new fixed point theorems are obtained. (C) 2011 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Some Fixed Point Results on Interpolative Metric Spaces
(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2025) Karapinar, Erdal; Agarwal, Ravi P.
This paper aims to introduce some basic fixed point theorems on interpolative metric space that is a natural extension of standard metric space.

Fixed Point Theory for Cyclic Weak Φ-Contraction
(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2011) Karapinar, Erdal; Karapınar, Erdal; Karapınar, Erdal; Mathematics; Mathematics
In this manuscript, the notion of cyclic weak phi-contraction is considered. It is shown that a self-mapping T on a complete metric space X has a fixed point if it satisfied cyclic weak phi-contraction. (C) 2010 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Quadruple Fixed Point Theorems for Nonlinear Contractions
(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2012) Karapinar, Erdal; Nguyen Van Luong
The notion of coupled fixed point is introduced by Gnana-Bhaskar and Lakshmikantham. Very recently, the concept of tripled fixed point was introduced by Berinde and Borcut. In this manuscript, a quadruple fixed point is considered and some new related fixed point theorems are obtained. We also give some examples to illustrate our results. (c) 2012 Elsevier Ltd. A Generalized Contraction Principle With Control Functions on Partial Metric Spaces
(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2012) Abdeljawad, Thabet; Karapinar, Erdal; Tas, Kenan
Partial metric spaces were introduced by Matthews in 1994 as a part of the study of denotational semantics of data flow networks. In this article, we prove a generalized contraction principle with control functions phi and psi on partial metric spaces. The theorems we prove generalize many previously obtained results. We also give some examples showing that our theorems are indeed proper extensions. (C) 2011 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Coupled Fixed Point Results for (ψ, Φ)-Weakly Contractive Condition in Ordered Partial Metric Spaces
(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2011) Aydi, Hassen; Karapinar, Erdal; Shatanawi, Wasfi
In this paper, we prove some coupled fixed point theorems involving a (psi, phi)-weakly contractive condition for mapping having the mixed monotone property in ordered partial metric spaces. These results are analogous to theorems of Van Luong and Xuan Thuan (2011) [10] on the class of ordered partial metric spaces. Also, an application is given to support our results. Best Proximity Points of Cyclic Mappings
(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2012) Karapinar, Erdal
In this this manuscript, we proved that the existence of best proximity points for the cyclic operators T defined on a union of subsets A, B of a uniformly convex Banach space X with T (A) subset of B, T(B) subset of A and satisfying the condition parallel to Tx - Yy parallel to <= alpha/3[parallel to x-y parallel to + parallel to Tx - x parallel to + parallel to Ty - y parallel to] + (1 - alpha)diam(A, B) for alpha is an element of (0, 1) and for all x is an element of A, for all y is an element of B, where diam(A, B) = inf{parallel to x - y parallel to : x is an element of A, y is an element of B}. A Generalized Contraction Principle in Partial Metric Spaces
(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2012) Kieu Phuong Chi; Karapinar, Erdal; Tran Duc Thanh
In this paper, we prove fixed point theorems for generally contractive mappings in complete partial metric spaces. Theorems presented are generalizations of recent fixed point theorems of D. Ilic, V. Pavlovic, and V. Rakocevic. An example is also stated that illustrates our results are extensions of their theorems. (C) 2011 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
