WEAK φ-CONTRACTION ON PARTIAL METRIC SPACES
(Eudoxus Press, Llc, 2012) Karapinar, Erdal
In this manuscript, the notion of weak phi-contraction is considered on partial metric space. It is shown that a self mapping T on a complete partial metric space X has a fixed point if they satisfied weak phi-contraction.

On Best Proximity Point of Ψ-Geraghty Contractions
(Springer international Publishing Ag, 2013) Karapinar, Erdal; Erhan, Inci M.
Very recently, Caballero, Harjani and Sadarangani (Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2012: 231, 2012) observed some best proximity point results for Geraghty contractions by using the P-property. In this paper, we introduce the notion of psi-Geraghty contractions and show the existence and uniqueness of the best proximity point of such contractions in the setting of a metric space. We state examples to illustrate our result.

Positive Solutions for Multipoint Boundary Value Problems for Singular Fractional Differential Equations
(Hindawi Ltd, 2014) Jleli, Mohamed; Karapinar, Erdal; Samet, Bessem
A class of nonlinear multipoint boundary value problems for singular fractional differential equations is considered. By means of a coupled fixed point theorem on ordered sets, some results on the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions are obtained.

Best Proximity Point Results in Dislocated Metric Spaces Via r-functions
(Springer-verlag Italia Srl, 2018) Gholizadeh, Leila; Karapinar, Erdal
In this paper, we investigate the existence of best proximity of R-contractions in the frame of dislocated metric spaces. We also propose some conditions to guarantee the uniqueness of best proximity point for such contractions. We consider an illustrative example to support the given results. This result generalizes a number of recent results on the topic in the literature.

Meir-Keeler Type Multidimensional Fixed Point Theorems in Partially Ordered Metric Spaces
(Hindawi Ltd, 2013) Karapinar, Erdal; Roldan, Antonio; Martinez-Moreno, Juan; Roldan, Concepcion
We study the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point of the multidimensional operators which satisfy Meir-Keeler type contraction condition. Our results extend, improve, and generalize the results mentioned above and the recent results on these topics in the literature.

Fixed Point Theory for Cyclic Weak Φ-Contraction
(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2011) Karapinar, Erdal; Karapınar, Erdal; Karapınar, Erdal; Mathematics; Mathematics
In this manuscript, the notion of cyclic weak phi-contraction is considered. It is shown that a self-mapping T on a complete metric space X has a fixed point if it satisfied cyclic weak phi-contraction. (C) 2010 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

A Note on '(g, f)-closed Set and Tripled Point of Coincidence Theorems for Generalized Compatibility in Partially Metric Spaces'
    (Springeropen, 2014) Karapinar, Erdal; Roldan-Lopez-de-Hierro, Antonio-Francisco
Recently, some (common) multidimensional fixed theorems in partially ordered complete metric spaces have appeared as a generalization of existing (usual) fixed point results. Unexpectedly, we realized that most of such (common) coupled fixed theorems are either weaker or equivalent to existing fixed point results in the literature. In particular, we prove that the results included in the very recent paper (Charoensawan and Thangthong in Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2014:245, 2014) can be considered as a consequence of existing fixed point theorems on the topic in the literature.

G-β-ψ contractive-type mappings and related fixed point theorems
(Springer, 2013) Alghamdi, Maryam A.; Karapinar, Erdal
In this paper, we introduce the notion of generalized G-beta-psi contractive mappings which is inspired by the concept of alpha-psi contractive mappings. We showed the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point for such mappings in the setting of complete G-metric spaces. The main results of this paper extend, generalize and improve some well-known results on the topic in the literature. We state some examples to illustrate our results. We consider also some applications to show the validity of our results.

Fixed Point Theorems in Quasi-Metric Spaces and Applications To Multidimensional Fixed Point Theorems on g-metric Spaces
(Yokohama Publ, 2015) Agarwal, Ravi; Karapinar, Erdal; Roldan-Lopez-De-Hierro, Antonio-Francisco; Mathematics
In this manuscript, we investigate the equivalence of the coupled fixed point theorems in quasi-metric spaces and in G-metric spaces. We also notice that coupled fixed point theorems in the setting of G-metric spaces can be derived from their corresponding versions in quasi-metric spaces. Our results generalize and unify several fixed point theorems in the context of G-metric spaces in the literature.
