Article Citation - WoS: 7Citation - Scopus: 9On Cyclic Generalized Weakly c-contractions on Partial Metric Spaces(Hindawi Ltd, 2013) Karapinar, Erdal; Rakocevic, VladimirWe give new results of a cyclic generalized weakly C-contraction in partial metric space. The results of this paper extend, generalize, and improve some fixed point theorems in the literature.Article Citation - WoS: 15Fixed Point Results for Various Α-Admissible Contractive Mappings on Metric-Like Spaces(Hindawi Ltd, 2014) Al-Mezel, Saleh A.; Chen, Chi-Ming; Karapinar, Erdal; Rakocevic, VladimirWe establish some fixed point theorems for alpha-admissible mappings in the context of metric-like space via various auxiliary functions. In particular, we prove the existence of a fixed point of the generalized Meir-Keeler type alpha-phi-contractive self-mapping.. defined on a metric- like space X. The given results generalize, improve, and unify several fixed point theorems for the generalized cyclic contractive mappings that have appeared recently in the literature.Article Citation - WoS: 13Citation - Scopus: 11Some Fixed Point Results on Quasi-b-metric-like Spaces(Springer international Publishing Ag, 2015) Cvetkovic, Marija; Karapinar, Erdal; Rakocevic, VladimirIn this paper, we investigate the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point of certain operators in the setting of complete quasi-b-metric-like spaces via admissible mappings. Our results improve, extend, and unify several well-known existence results.Article Citation - WoS: 3Citation - Scopus: 7Existence of Periodic Fixed Point Theorems in the Setting of Generalized Quasi-Metric Spaces(Hindawi Publishing Corporation, 2014) Chen, Chi-Ming; Karapinar, Erdal; Rakocevic, VladimirWe introduce the notions of (alpha - phi - psi)-weaker Meir-Keeler contractive mappings and (alpha - phi)- stronger Meir-Keeler contractive mappings. We discuss the existence of periodic points in the setting of generalized quasi-metric spaces. Our results improve, extend, and generalize several results in the literature.Article Citation - WoS: 5Citation - Scopus: 14Existence of a Solution of Integral Equations Via Fixed Point Theorem(Springeropen, 2013) Gulyaz, Selma; Karapinar, Erdal; Rakocevic, Vladimir; Salimi, PeymanIn this paper, we establish a solution to the following integral equation: u(t) = integral(T)(0) G(t, s)f(s, u(s)) ds for all t is an element of [0,T], (1) where T > 0, f : [0, T] x R -> R and G : [0, T] x [0, T] -> [0, infinity) are continuous functions. For this purpose, we also obtain some auxiliary fixed point results which generalize, improve and unify some fixed point theorems in the literature.Article Impact of Kannan Contraction on Khan Contraction and its Generalizations(Univ Belgrade, Fac Electrical Engineering, 2025) Cvetkovic, Marija; Karapinar, Erdal; Rakocevic, VladimirSeveral concepts of rational contractions originated during the last 50 years with vivid discussion on possible applications and practical examples. The main topic of this article is a Khan contraction, its modifications and generalizations, with the emphasis on its relation to some well-known classes of contractive mappings. We prove that a Khan contraction is an example of Bianchini and, consequently, a Ciric contraction. Further, some of its generalizations present a special type of Kannan contraction.Article Citation - WoS: 4Citation - Scopus: 5Fixed Point Results for Admissible z-contractions(House Book Science-casa Cartii Stiinta, 2018) Cvetkovic, Marija; Karapinar, Erdal; Rakocevic, VladimirIn this paper, we present some fixed point results in the setting of a complete metric spaces by defining a new contractive condition via admissible mapping embedded in simulation function.Article Citation - WoS: 27Citation - Scopus: 29Meir-Keeler Type Contractions on Modular Metric Spaces(Univ Nis, Fac Sci Math, 2018) Aksoy, Umit; Karapinar, Erdal; Erhan, Inci M.; Rakocevic, VladimirIn this paper we introduce contraction mappings of Meir-Keeler types on modular metric spaces and investigate the existence and uniqueness of their fixed points. We give an example which demonstrates our theoretical results.
