The aim of Atılım University Department of Tourism Management is to train tourism managers who are able to compete at an international level by offering quality education opportunities. Graduates employed as managers in the fields of accommodation, travel, catering, gastronomy, transportation, congress, conference organization begin their professional life while they are still interns. The academic staff consists of faculty members who are experts in their field, as well as sector professionals. With five years of education including the preparatory English courses offered, the courses of the department are in English. The course program consists of applied and theoretical courses devised with respect to the global trends in tourism. Students perform their internship studies at hotel chains, A-Class travel agencies and professional tourism companies. Our Department is in contract with universities abroad within the scope of the Erasmus student Exchange program. With its quality of education documented by TURAK (Tourism Education, Evaluation and Accreditation Board), Atılım university Department of Tourism Management is the first undergraduate program in Turkey to hold the accreditation.

GÜR ÇAĞLAR, Nermin.Sağlık Turizminde İçsel Pazarlama Uygulamalarının Hizmet Kalitesine Etkisi.Ankara 2016. Türkiye, coğrafi konumu, doğal zenginlikleri, kültürel mirası ve son dönemde teknolojinin gelişmesi ile sağlıkta geldiği nokta ile sağlık turizmi açısından önemli bir potansiyel haline gelmiştir. Sağlık turizmi çeşitlerinden biri olan medikal turizm kapsamında insanlar kendi ülkelerinden veya başka ülkelerden tıbbın birçok dalından sağlık hizmeti satın almak üzere seyahat etmektedirler. İçsel pazarlama uygulamaları, özellikle hizmet işletmelerinin gün geçtikçe daha fazla önem verdiği bir yaklaşım olarak dikkati çekmektedir. Birçok araştırma, içsel pazarlamanın işyerine bağlılığı, güveni ve memnuniyeti arttırdığını ve bu etkinin daha yüksek kalitede hizmet sunumunu sağladığını ortaya koymaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı, sağlık turizminde içsel pazarlama uygulamalarının hizmet kalitesine etkisini incelenmektir. Hastanelerde verilen sağlık hizmetlerinin kalitesi ve içsel pazarlama uygulamaları arasındaki ilişkiyi inceleyen bu araştırmada, Ankara Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesinde hizmet veren 400 hemşireye anket uygulaması yapılarak içsel pazarlama ve hizmet kalitesine ilişkin görüşleri değerlendirilmektedir. Araştırma sonucunda hizmet kalitesinin iyileştirilmesinde içsel pazarlama uygulamalarının önemli etkileri olduğu görülmektedir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Medikal Turizm, İçsel Pazarlama, Hizmet Kalitesi.
GÜR ÇAĞLAR, Nermin.The Influence of Internal Marketing Applications on Service Quality for Health Care Tourism. Turkey has gained great potential regarding medical tourism with its geographica 0l position, natural richness, cultural heritage and its recent technological development in the health field. People travel to buy health service from the different branches of health care either through their country or to other countries in the context of medical tourism, which is a kind of medical tourism. Internal marketing applications draw attention as an approach to which service organizations give more importance day by day. Many researchers have found out that internal marketing increase the satisfaction, confidence and commitment to the organizations and this influence provides a higher level quality of service presentation. The research objective is to examine the influence of internal marketing applications on service quality for medical tourism. At this study, which analyses the relation between the quality of health service given at the hospitals and internal marketing applications, I evaluated the viewpoints of 400 nurses, works at Ankara Research and Training Hospital, about internal marketing for service quality by conducting questionaire to them. At the end of study, I came to the conclusion of that internal marketing applications have importance influences on enhancing service quality.
