Kültürel mirasın korunması ve sergilenmesi: Kaman Kalehöyük Arkeoloji Müzesi örneği

Abstract

Mimari ve iç mimari yapılanması ışığında, teknolojinin müzelerde kullanılan sergileme unsurlarını ve bu kullanım detaylarıyla sağlanan algısal etkilerini sorunsallaştıran bu tez çalışması özünde, Kalehöyük Arkeoloji müzesi örneği üzerinden, ideal olan sergileme yöntemlerini irdelemektedir. Kültürel mirasın keşfi, korunması ve sergilenmesiyle gelişen kültürel hareketliliğin sağlanmasında kullanılan koruma ve sergileme yöntemlerinde teknoloji kullanımına değinilmektedir. Modern yaşamın neredeyse tamamını kapsayan mimarlık ve iç mimarlık kavram ve uygulamaları, eğitim alanında da önemli roller üstlenmektedir. Bu tez çalışmasında da söz konusu olan eğitim odağı aslında alışılagelmiş eğitim alanları olan okullardan farklı olarak, müzeleri kapsamaktadır. Müzecilik kavramının tanımlanmasında, kültürel mirası koruma işlevi ele alınmaktadır. Söz konusu müze yapılanmasında, arkeolojik kazılardan elde edilen eserlerin korunma ve sergilenme ihtiyaçları üzerinde durulmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, Kaman Kalehöyük Arkeoloji Müzesi mimari yaklaşım, lokasyon ve tarihi duyarlılık nedeniyle tez çalışmasının özünü oluşturmaktadır. Belirlenen kuramsal çerçevede; yaz ve kış aylarında olmak üzere iki farklı iklim koşulunda alan tespit ve değerlendirme çalışması yapılarak; kazı başkanı, müze müdürü ve diğer çalışanlarla görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Müze yerleşkesi kapsamındaki mimari ve iç mimari yapılanmalar ile bu yapıların detayları yerinde incelenmiş ve fotoğraflanmıştır. Gerekli literatür taramaları neticesinde alınan teorik bilgilerle, elde edilen alan çalışması sonuçları derlenerek bu tez çalışmasını yapılandırmıştır. Koruma ve sergileme yöntemlerinde teknolojik yaklaşımlar bu tez çalışmasına konu olmakla; kimi kültürel ve akademik çalışmalara kaynak sağlamakla birlikte, eğitim alanında alternatif mekânların kullanılmasına dikkat çekerek, bu bağlamda müzelerin eğitimle ilgili yüzünü aydınlatmaktadır. In the light of architecture and interior design, this thesis in its essence analyzes the ideal exhibition methods through the example of Kaman-Kalehoyuk Archaeological Museum by problematizing the technological exhibition features used in museums and perceptual/cognitive effects by such usage details. Technological use in protection and exhibition methods in ensuring cultural mobility developed through the discovery, protection and exhibition of cultural heritage is discussed. The concept and implementation of architecture and interior design that covers almost every sphere of modern life, bears important roles in educational area as well. In this thesis, educational focus covers museums rather than schools as commonly referred educational areas. In the description of museology concept, the function of cultural heritage protection is discussed. Within the context of museum structuring, the protection and exhibition needs of artifacts found in archeological excavation are emphasized. In this context, due to its architectural approach, location and historical sensitivity, Kaman-Kalehoyuk Archaeological Museum is the main focus of this thesis. Within the specific conceptual framework, there have been investigation and evaluation studies in two different climate conditions such as winter and summer period and interviews with archaeological excavation manager, director of museum and other employees. Architecture and interior design structures together with their structural details situated in museum campus are examined onsite and are photographed. This thesis work is structured through theoretical information acquired via necessary literature review and information acquired from site examination. Together with technological approaches in protection and exhibition methods, providing reference to certain cultural and academic works and drawing attention to the usage of alternative spaces in educational area and consequently enlightening the educational feature of museums compose scope of this thesis.
