Özel Hastane Çalışanlarının Yaşadıkları Stresin Çalışan Motivasyonuna Etkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırma sağlık sektöründe faaliyet gösteren özel bir hastanede çalışan iş görenin üzerinde baskı oluşturan stresin, iş görenin motivasyonu üzerindeki etkisini ölçmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Gaziantep ilinde faaliyet gösteren özel bir hastanede çalışan 400 iş gören oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma 02.01.2019 – 31.01.2019 tarihleri arasında yapılmıştır. Araştırmada örneklem seçilmemiş, hastanede çalışan 400 iş görenin tamamına ulaşılmaya çalışılmış ve araştırmaya hastane iş göreninin %72'si (287 iş gören) katılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen veriler SPSS 23.0 programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada iki grup ortalaması arasındaki farkı test etmede t testi, üç veya daha fazla grup ortalaması arasındaki farkı test etmek için tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca stresin motivasyon üzerine etkisini tespit edebilmek amacıyla regresyon analizi ile stres ve motivasyon arasındaki ilişkiyi tespit etmek amacıyla korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre hastane iş göreninin iş stresinin motivasyonları üzerinde negatif bir etkisi olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca sosyo-demografik özelliklere göre hastane iş göreninin 'cinsiyet değişkeni' bakımından stres boyutunda ve 'medeni durum' değişkeni bakımından motivasyon boyutunda gruplar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Hastane iş göreninin diğer sosyo demografik özellikleri ile stres ve motivasyon boyutlarında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık tespit edilmemiştir. Yapılan korelasyon analizi sonucunda stres ve motivasyon arasında pozitif zayıf yönlü bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca Standart regresyon katsayısına göre stres değişkenindeki 1 birim artışın genel motivasyon değişkeninde 0,185 birim azalışa neden olması beklenir.

This study was carried out to measure the effect of stress on the motivation of the personnel working in a private hospital operating in the health sector. The population of the study consists of 400 personnel working in a private hospital operating in the province of Gaziantep. The study was carried out between 02.01.2019 and 31.01.2019. All of the 400 staff working in the hospital were tried to reach the sample and 72% (287 personnel) of the hospital staff were included in the study. The data obtained from the research were analyzed by SPSS 23.0 program. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to test the difference between two groups' mean and t test, and the difference between three or more groups. In addition, regression analysis was used to determine the effect of stress on motivation. According to the results of the study, it has a negative effect on the motivations of the job of the hospital. In addition, according to the socio-demographic characteristics, the gender of the hospital worker has an impressive dimension and the boyut marital status 'variable has been at different levels in the motivation dimension at the center. Other socio - demographic characteristics and stress and motivation dimensions of the hospital employees were not significantly different. Structured correlation analysis, positive weakness between stress and motivation. Furthermore, according to the standard regression coefficient, a 1 unit increase in the stress variable is expected to cause a decrease of 0.118 units in the general motivation variable.
