We are a department that has been active for 22 years with the goal to determine the structural changes in economy and the problems of general business administration, to develop problem solving skills and to devise modelling techniques that fit our aims. Among our cornerstones are to graduate more students into administrative positions of our institutions, to help them realize their inner potential to be go-getters, to prepare them for the entrance exams for high-tier, well-respected public positions, and to help them participate graduate and doctorate degree programs at ease, nationally or internationally. In this regard, our course curriculum is constantly subject to updates. In addition, we do all in our power to graduate students that stand out, with double-major program opportunities. We make an effort to aid our students in kick-starting their professional life after completing a period of one semester at Private - Public institutions within the framework of our Cooperative Education Program.

Pilot Training

The Department of Pilot Training under Atılım University Graduate School of Civil Aviation is a graduate program that opened in 2016. At the Department of Pilot Training, we train pilots in a way that grants them extraordinary qualities at an education and training environment equipped with state-of-the-art technology and equipment, and in English, as the language of global aviation. The PPL(A) and PIC flight stages of the flight training offered by our Department of Pilot Training have been conducted under Atılım University Flight Training School at Zonguldak Çaycuma Airport and Ankara Esenboğa Airport using the hangars of Atılım University, and our Technam aircraft since 2017; while the IR and ME certification training procedures under the CPL(A) education are conducted at Atlantic Flight Academy, AFA Flight School with which we share a cooperation protocol in education. Our graduates become eligible to obtain an ATPL (A) Airline Transfer Pilot License from the Directorate of Civil Aviation with their Undergraduate Diploma. As Atılım University, we would like to welcome you to our Undergraduate Degree program in Pilot Training if you wish to become a pilot who holds a certificate that is valid worldwide, speaks an advanced-level of English, prioritizes flight safety and security, has adopted the culture of aviation, is able to conduct domestic and international flights with adherence to all rules, has adopted the analytical thought process, is able to undertake the duties of leadership and teamwork, have a high level of awareness and is able to make the right decision at the right time.

The Department of Public Relations and Advertising started its 4-year undergraduate degree program in 2000 under the School of Business. The Department of Public Relations and Advertising offers a program that stresses the skill of analytical thinking for students. The program is based on academic standpoints and supported by practices and new technologies. The department offers the opportunity to take elective courses from its own curriculum, or from other departments, in addition to theoretical and practical courses that complement each other. With a program offered in English, the Department of Public Relations and Advertising has mutual contracts with universities from Spain, the Netherlands and Finland within the scope of the “Erasmus Exchange Program”. In addition, the graduate degree program of “Public Relations and Advertising” under the Graduate School of social Sciences aims to sustain the continuity of undergraduate-level education and training, and to meet the demands of those pursuing to advance academically.

Abstract

Kuşak farklılıkları teknoloji, sosyal, ekonomik değişimler ve kültürel değişimler gibi çeşitli faktörler tarafından şekillendirilebilir. X, Y, Z kuşakları perspektifinden bakıldığında çalışma değerleri ve iş-yaşam dengesi arasında ilişkinin ne şekilde geliştiği öne çıkmaktadır. Bu sebeple araştırmada, kuşak farklılıklarının iş yaşam dengesi ve çalışma değerleri arasındaki ilişki incelenmiş ve bu doğrultuda, iş hayatının yöneticileri olan X kuşağının, genç yöneticileri ve profesyonelleri olan Y kuşağının ve iş hayatına yeni başlayan Z kuşağının iş yaşam dengesi ve çalışma değerleri arasındaki farklılıklar ve benzerlikler incelenmiştir. Bu yönüyle literatürde yapılmış ilk çalışma niteliğindedir. Çalışma, nicel araştırma desenlerinden kesitsel tarama modeli olarak tasarlanmıştır. Çalışmaya enerji sektöründen kolayda örnekleme stratejisi ile 343 örneklem katılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, çalışma değerleri perspektifinden bakıldığında kuşak farklılıkları ve gelir düzeyi değişkeni açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark saptanmamış olmasına rağmen cinsiyetin çalışma değerlerini etkilediği görülmüştür. İş yaşam dengesi ölçeğinin uygulaması sonrasında ise değişkenler arasında sadece gelir düzeyinin anlamlı bir fark yarattığı tespit edilmiştir.
