Türkiye ekonomisinin küreselleşme sürecinde bir sivil toplum kuruluşu olarak Türkiye İhracatçılar Meclisi (TİM)'nin rolü

Abstract

Küreselleşen ekonomiler, mal, hizmet, sermaye, emek ve teknoloji alışverişinde bulunarak uluslararası ticareti geliştirmektedir. Bu alışveriş ise ithalat, ihracat ve yatırım yoluyla gerçekleşmektedir. Türkiye ekonomisi de ihracat yoluyla küresel ekonomilerle bütünleşmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Cumhuriyet'in kuruluşundan itibaren Türkiye ekonomisinin küreselleşme süreci ve İhracatçı Birlikleri ile Türkiye İhracatçılar Meclisi'nin tarihsel geçmişi, görevleri ve faaliyetlerinin değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Türkiye'de ihracatın geliştirilmesi ve dış ticaret hacminin arttırılması için çalışan bir sivil toplum kuruluşu olan Türkiye İhracatçılar Meclisi, Türkiye ekonomisinin küreselleşmesinde önemli rol oynamaktadır. Bu hipotez, TİM'in yeni şirketleri ihracata teşvik etmek, Türk şirketlerini küresel ekonomiye dâhil etmek, ihracatçıları küresel rekabette güçlendirmek, dünyanın birçok ülkesinden alıcı bulmak ve ürünlerine katma değer sağlayarak dış ticareti geliştirmek için yaptığı faaliyetler incelenerek desteklenmiştir.

Globalizing economies develop international trade by exchanging goods, services, capital, labor and technology. This exchange is realized through import, export and investment. The Turkish economy is also integrating with global economies through exports. In this study, the globalization process of the Turkish economy since the foundation of the Republic and the historical background, duties and activities of the Exporters' Associations and the Turkish Exporters' Assembly have been carried out. Turkish Exporters Assembly, which is a non-governmental organization working for the development of exports and increasing the foreign trade volume in Turkey, plays an important role in the globalization of the Turkish economy. This hypothesis is supported by examining the TİM's activities to encourage new companies to export, include Turkish companies in the global economy, strengthen the exporters in global competition, find buyers from many countries of the world and develop foreign trade by providing added value to their products.
