Abstract
İş motivasyonu, bir çalışanın işine duyduğu ilgi, bağlılık ve çaba düzeyini belirleyen temel faktördür. Motivasyonu yüksek çalışanlar, daha verimli, yaratıcı ve proaktif olurlar. İş motivasyonu, sadece bireysel performansı değil, aynı zamanda organizasyonel başarıyı da doğrudan etkiler. Motivasyonu artırmak için çalışanların işe olan ilgilerini canlı tutmak, onları ödüllendirmek ve gelişim fırsatları sunmak kritik öneme sahiptir. Bir diğer önemli konu ise iş yaşam dengesidir. İş ve özel yaşam arasında denge kurabilmek, çalışanların hem işlerinde hem de kişisel hayatlarında daha tatmin edici bir yaşam sürmelerini sağlar. Bu denge, tükenmişlik sendromunu önler, stres seviyelerini azaltır ve genel iş tatmini ile mutluluğu artırır. İyi bir iş yaşam dengesi, çalışanların yalnızca daha sağlıklı olmasına değil, aynı zamanda işlerine daha fazla odaklanmalarına ve verimli olmalarına da olanak tanır. Günümüzde, iş yaşam dengesi sağlamak adına esnek çalışma saatleri, uzaktan çalışma gibi uygulamalar daha fazla önem kazanmaktadır. Ayrıca, haftada dört gün çalışma gibi yeni düzenlemeler, çalışanların motivasyonunu artırmak ve iş tatminini yükseltmek adına büyük bir potansiyele sahiptir. Sonuç olarak, haftada dört gün çalışma modelinin çalışanlar üzerindeki olumlu etkilerinin gözlemlenmesi beklenmektedir. Bu model, çalışanlara daha fazla dinlenme ve yenilenme fırsatı sunarak, işlerine daha yüksek bir motivasyonla dönmelerini sağlar. Ayrıca, iş ve özel yaşam dengesini iyileştirerek hem bireysel hem de kurumsal performansı artırma potansiyeline sahiptir. Bu çalışma özel ve kamu sektöründe çalışanlar arasında yapılacaktır. Türkiye'de hangi alanda daha faydalı olacağı araştırılmak istenmiştir. Bu özet, iş motivasyonunun ve iş yaşam dengesinin önemini vurgularken, haftada dört gün çalışmanın bu dengeyi sağlamak adına potansiyel bir çözüm olarak sunulmasına odaklanmaktadır.
Work motivation is a key factor that determines an employee's interest, commitment, and level of effort towards their job. Employees with high motivation tend to be more productive, creative, and proactive. Work motivation not only affects individual performance but also directly impacts organizational success. To boost motivation, it is crucial to keep employees engaged with their work, reward them, and offer opportunities for development. Another important factor is work-life balance. Achieving a balance between work and personal life allows employees to lead a more satisfying life both professionally and personally. This balance prevents burnout, reduces stress levels, and enhances overall job satisfaction and happiness. A good work-life balance not only promotes better health but also enables employees to focus more on their work and be more productive. In today's world, practices like flexible working hours and remote work are becoming increasingly important for achieving work-life balance. Additionally, new arrangements such as a four-day workweek have great potential to increase employee motivation and improve job satisfaction. As a result, it is expected that the positive effects of the four-day workweek on employees will be observed. This model provides employees with more opportunities to rest and recharge, allowing them to return to work with higher motivation. Furthermore, by improving work-life balance, it has the potential to enhance both individual and organizational performance. This study will be conducted among employees in both the private and public sectors. It aims to explore which sector in Turkey would benefit most from this model. This summary highlights the importance of work motivation and work-life balance, focusing on the four-day workweek as a potential solution to achieve this balance.
