    FIXED POINT RESULTS FOR GENERALIZED α-ψ-CONTRACTIONS IN METRIC-LIKE SPACES AND APPLICATIONS

    In this article, we introduce the concept of generalized alpha-psi-contraction in the context of metric-like spaces and establish some related fixed point theorems. As consequences, we obtain some known fixed point results in the literature. Some examples and an application on two-point boundary value problems for second order differential equation are also considered.

    On Fixed Point Results for Α-Implicit Contractions in Quasi-Metric Spaces and Consequences

    In this paper, we prove some fixed point results involving alpha-implicit contractions in quasi-metric spaces. Moreover, we provide some known results on G-metric spaces. An example and an application on a solution of a nonlinear integral equation are also presented.

    ON ADMISSIBLE WEAK CONTRACTIONS IN <i>b</i>-METRIC-LIKE SPACE

    In this work, we establish some fixed point theorems for admissible weak contractions in b-metric-like spaces and b-metric-like spaces endowed with a partial order. Also, we give some fixed point theorems for cyclic contractive mapping in such spaces. The new results in this paper generalize and extend many theorems that we can find in the literature.

    In this paper, we establish fixed point theorems for a (alpha, psi)-Meir-Keeler-Khan self mappings. The main result of our work is an extension of the theorem of Khan [M. S. Khan, Rend. Inst.     DISCUSSION ON THE EQUIVALENCE OF <i>W</i>-DISTANCES WITH Ω-DISTANCES

    In this manuscript, we study some relationships between w-distances on metric spaces and Omega-distances on G*-metric spaces. Concretely we show that the class of all w-distances on metric spaces is a subclass of all Omega-distances on G*-metric spaces. Then, researchers must be careful because some recent results about w-distances (for instances, in the topic of fixed point theory) can be seen as simple consequences of their corresponding results about Omega-distances. In this sense, we show how to translate some results between different metric models.

    Fixed Point Theorems in Quasi-Metric Spaces and Applications To Multidimensional Fixed Point Theorems on <i>g</I>-metric Spaces

    In this manuscript, we investigate the equivalence of the coupled fixed point theorems in quasi-metric spaces and in G-metric spaces. We also notice that coupled fixed point theorems in the setting of G-metric spaces can be derived from their corresponding versions in quasi-metric spaces. Our results generalize and unify several fixed point theorems in the context of G-metric spaces in the literature.

    On the Existence and Uniqueness of Solutions of Fractional Dynamic Equations On Time Scales

    The existence and uniqueness of solutions of Cauchy problem for a nonlinear Caputo fractional dynamic equation of arbitrary order alpha > 0 is studied. The problem is treated as a fixed point problem posed on a b-metric space. A numerical example is presented to support the theoretical results.

    On Ciric Type φ-Geraghty Contractions

    In this paper we introduce the notions of phi-Geraghty contractions and Ciric type phi-Geraghty contractions. We also investigate under which conditions such mappings posses a unique fixed point in the framework of complete metric spaces. We consider examples to show the validity of our main results.
