    A general class of alpha-admissible contractions defined via (b)-comparison functions on b-metric spaces is discussed. Existence and uniqueness of the fixed point for this class of contractions is studied. Some consequences are presented. The results are employed in the discussion of existence and uniqueness of solutions of first order boundary value problems for ordinary differential equations.

    ON α-ψ-GERAGHTY CONTRACTION TYPE MAPPINGS ON QUASI-BRANCIARI METRIC SPACES

    In this paper, we state and prove results regarding alpha-psi-Geraghty contractive mappings in the setting of quasi-Branciari metric spaces. We provide existence and uniqueness results for periodic and fixed points of such mappings.

    FIXED POINT RESULTS FOR GENERALIZED α-ψ-CONTRACTIONS IN METRIC-LIKE SPACES AND APPLICATIONS

    In this article, we introduce the concept of generalized alpha-psi-contraction in the context of metric-like spaces and establish some related fixed point theorems. As consequences, we obtain some known fixed point results in the literature. Some examples and an application on two-point boundary value problems for second order differential equation are also considered.

    In this paper, we prove some fixed point results involving alpha-implicit contractions in quasi-metric spaces. Moreover, we provide some known results on G-metric spaces. An example and an application on a solution of a nonlinear integral equation are also presented.

    Common Periodic Soft Points of the Asymptotic Sequences in Soft Metric Spaces

    The purpose of this paper is to study the important properties of soft sets and soft metric spaces, and then we prove some theorems which assures the existence of common periodic soft points for the asymptotic sequences with respect to the soft Meir-Keeler type functions on a complete soft metric space. Our results generalize many recent fixed point results in the literature.

    AN IMPLICIT RELATION FOR MEIR-KEELER TYPE MAPPINGS ON METRIC-LIKE SPACES

    In this note, we introduce an implicit relation for Meir-Keeler type mappings via auxiliary pair of functions (alpha,psi) in the context of metric-like spaces. We investigate the existence and uniqueness of a common fixed point of such operators. The obtained results extend, improve and unify several existing fixed point results in the literature.

    The aim of this paper is to introduce (alpha, psi)- rational contractive mappings of integral type and analyze the existence of fixed points for these mappings in b-metric spaces. Our results extend the results in Karapinar et al. [35] and well known fixed point theorems in the literature.

    Note on "Modified α-ψ-Contractive Mappings with Applications"

    In this short paper, we unexpectedly notice that the modified version of alpha-psi-contractive mappings, suggested by Salimi et al. [Modified alpha-psi-contractive mappings with applications, Fixed Point Theory and Applications 2013, 2013:151] is not a real generalization.
