Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, kuşak kavramını açıklamak, kuşakların sınıflandırılması ve özelliklerini incelemek ve ana başlığı oluşturan Y kuşağının örgütsel bağlılık düzeyini duygusal bağlılık, devam bağlılığı ve normatif bağlılık boyutlarında ele almaktır. Bunun için Allen ve Meyer (1990) tarafından geliştirilen Örgütsel Bağlılık Ölçeği ve söz konusu örneklem grubunun demografik özellikleri ortaya koymak amacıyla ile hazırlanan anket formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin analizi için SPSS istatistik programı kullanılmıştır. Söz konusu bağlılık düzeylerinin cinsiyet, yaş, medeni durum ve örgütteki süreleri gibi demografik özelliklere göre nasıl bir farklılık gösterdiği T- testi, Anova ve Korelasyon testleri ile analiz edilmiştir. Ayrıca bazı anket sorularının yorumlanmasında açıklayıcı ve betimleyici tez teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Analizler sonucunda kendinden önceki kuşağın eleştirilerinin odağı olan Y kuşağından örgütsel bağlılık beklemenin anlamsız olduğu kanısına varılmıştır. This study aims to explain the generation subject, classify the generations, examine their properties and investigate the main topic that Generation Y's organizational commitment; affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment. For that, it was used a survey in order to put forth the demographic characteristics of the sample group and Organizational Commitment Questionare which was developed by Allen and Meyer (1990). SPSS statistical program was used for the analysis of the data obtained in this study. It was analyzed that how differences the commitment levels according to demographic characteristics as gender, age, marital status and time in the organization by T-test, Anova and Correlation tests. And also illustrative and descriptive thesis techniques were used for interpretation some of survey questions. Analysis of results showed that it is pointless to wait organizational commitment from Generation Y who is the focus of criticism of previous generation.
