Abstract
Turizm bir yörenin ekonomik, sosyal ve kültürel gelişimini sağlayan önemli sek törlerden biridir. Kızılcahamam’da 1994 yılından bu yana turizm yerel halkın ana ge çim kaynağıdır. Ancak yerel kalkınmanın ve refahın sağlanması ve sürdürülebilir kılı nabilmesi için ilgili tüm aktörlere önemli görevler düşmektedir. Bu bakımdan Kızılca hamam’da özellikle turizm kapsamında yerel kalkınmanın sürdürülebilirliği ve sorunla rın tespiti için Yerel Sivil Toplum Kuruluşları’nın görüşleri önemlidir. -itel araştırma
tekniği kullanılan bu çalışmada, mülakatlardan ve ilgili literatür çalışmalarından ya rarlanılmıştır. Yerel STK’larla yapılan mülakatlar doğrultusunda Kızılcahamam’da tu rizmin yerel kalkınmaya etkisi konusunda görüşleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Tourism as a Factor of Local Development: The Views of Local 2GOs
ABSTRACT: Tourism is one of the important sectors that contributes to the economic, so cial and cultural development of a district. Since 1994, tourism has been the main source of income for local people of Kızılcahamam. However, the actors concerned have important responsibilities in order to make local development and prosperity satis fied and sustainable. Therefore, the opinions of Local -on-Governmental Organizations about the sustainability of local development and identification of problems within the context of tourism in Kızılcahamam are essential. This study, where qualitative investi gation technique is used, has been done by making use of interviews and corresponding literature studies. The study has attempted to explore the opinions of local -GOS about the effect of tourism on local development in Kızılcahamam through the interviews con ducted with them. Finally, recommendations to increase the effect of tourism on local development in Kızılcahamam are put forward in line with the findings derived from all these studies.
