Industrial Engineering is a field of engineering that develops and applies methods and techniques to design, implement, develop and improve systems comprising of humans, materials, machines, energy and funding. Our department was founded in 1998, and since then, has graduated hundreds of individuals who may compete nationally and internationally into professional life. Accredited by MÜDEK in 2014, our student-centered education continues. In addition to acquiring the knowledge necessary for every Industrial engineer, our students are able to gain professional experience in their desired fields of expertise with a wide array of elective courses, such as E-commerce and ERP, Reliability, Tabulation, or Industrial Engineering Applications in the Energy Sector. With dissertation projects fictionalized on solving real problems at real companies, our students gain experience in the sector, and a wide network of contacts. Our education is supported with ERASMUS programs. With the scientific studies of our competent academic staff published in internationally-renowned magazines, our department ranks with the bests among other universities. IESC, one of the most active student networks at our university, continues to organize extensive, and productive events every year.

ADELEYE, Adesanya Chris. Tedarik Zinciri Yönetiminin Organizasyon Performansı Üzerine Etkisi: Nijerya'da Yer Alan Bir İmalat Şirketine İlişkin Bir Vaka Çalışması, Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Ankara, 2021. Bu çalışma, tedarik zinciri yönetiminin operasyonel performans üzerindeki etkisini Nijerya'da bulunan A Manufacturing Company'yi örnek olay olarak kullanarak incelemiştir. Katılımcılardan bilgi toplamada nicel yöntemin birincil formu kullanılmıştır. Frekans analizi, güvenilirlik testi, çapraz tablo testi, faktör analizi, korelasyon analizi ve regresyon yöntemi gibi farklı tahmin teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Analizden elde edilen sonuç, tedarik zincirinin operasyon performansını etkilediğini ve şirketlerin karar vermek için çoğunlukla ticaret ortaklarına güvendiğini ortaya koydu. Ayrıca, müşteri ilişkisinin operasyonel performansı etkilemek için olumlu ve anlamlı olduğunu gösteren anlamlılık değeri ile müşteri ilişkisi katsayı değerinin, bilgi paylaşımının operasyonel performans üzerinde olumlu ve anlamlı bir etkisi olduğunu göstermiştir. Ayrıca, stratejik tedarikçi ortaklığının anket dönemi boyunca operasyonel performans üzerinde olumlu ancak önemsiz bir etkisi vardır. Tedarik zinciri yönetiminin örgütsel performansı etkilemek için olumlu ve önemli bir etkiye sahip olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. ADELEYE, Adesanya Chris. The Effect of Supply Change Management on Organization Performance: A Case Study of a Manufacturing Company Situated in Nigeria, Master Thesis, Ankara, 2021. This study had examined the effect of supply chain management on the operational performance using XYZ Manufacturing Company situated in Nigeria as a case study. Primary form of quantitative method was used in collecting information from the participants. Different types of estimation techniques were used such as frequency analysis, reliability test, crosstab test, factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression method. From the analysis, the result revealed that supply chain affects operation performance, that company mostly rely on the trading partners for decision making. It further showed that the coefficient value of customer relationship is 0.153 with a significance value of 0.002, indicating that customer relationship is positive and significant to influence operational performance, share information has a positive and significant impact on operational performance. Furthermore, strategic supplier partnership has a positive but insignificant to influence on operational performance during the survey period. It was concluded that supply chain management has a positive and significant impact to influence organizational performance.
