The Atılım University Department of International Relations was founded in 1997. International relations is a field of science where the relations among states, organizations and other players in the international system are researched and observed. The field of international relations is also an interdisciplinary field, combining areas such as economy, history and political science to research on topics such as human rights, global poverty, environment, economy, globalization, security and global ethics. Offering three Graduate Degree programs in addition to the undergraduate program, the Department of International Relations continues to graduate individuals from its Graduate Degree Program in European Union Studies, as well as its Graduate Degree programs in Turkish and English.

Abstract

İran İslam devriminden sonra ülkede kurulan İslam Cumhuriyeti devleti, genel anlamda batı tarzı devlet sistemlerinden çok farklıdır. Nitekim İran İslam Cumhuriyeti devlet anlayışı İslam hukukuna ve daha doğrusu Şii İslam anlayışına göre kurulmuştur. Şii İslam düşüncesi doğrultusunda 12 imam doktrini, Anayasa gücüyle dini lidere geniş kapsamlı yetkilere vermiştir. Ayrıca yasama yürütme ve yargı alanlarında ülkedeki yetkili şahıs Dini liderdir. Gelinen noktada ülkede var olan meclis yanı sıra, yetkili birçok kurum, karmaşık yetki ve sorumluluk içinde halk tarafından, Velayet-i Fakih tarafından veya halkın seçtiği kişiler tarafından seçilmektedir. Kısacası, çok karmaşık ve kendine has özelliklerle bir hukuk sistemi kurulup, sürdürülmektedir.
After Islamic Republic revolution, the state of the Islamic Republic of Iran has a different system from the states in Europe. As a matter of fact, the Islamic Republic of Iran was founded according to the Islamic law, and more precisely the Shii Islamic ecole. In the direction of Shii Islamic ecole, 12 imam doctrines, the constitution, power and religious 'Superem leader'' Velayet-i Fakih', who has broad authority over legislation, enforcement and judiciary. So supreme leader is the most authorized person in Iran. In addition to the existing parliament in the country, many competent institutions are chosen by the people in complex authority and responsibility by the people of Superem leader or by the people. In short, a legal system with very complex and unique characteristics is being kept and maintained.
