gperson.biography Emre Caner Akcay is currently an associate professor of civil engineering at Atilim University. Prior to joining Atilim University, Emre Caner Akcay was a postdoctoral visiting researcher and part-time instructor of civil, architectural, and environmental engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He received his PhD, MS, and BSc degrees in 2014, 2010, and 2008 from the Middle East Technical University. His research interests include sustainability, information technologies in construction, project management, contracting, and project delivery systems.
