    Discussions on Perturbed Quasi-Metric Spaces
    (Yokohama Publishing, 2025) Karapinar, Erdal
The main goal of this manuscript is to introduce the notion of perturbed quasi-metric spaces. Furthermore, it shall discuss the existence of basic fixed point theorems in the setting of perturbed quasi-metric spaces.

Fixed Point Results on Perturbed B-Metric Space
(Univ Belgrade, Fac Electrical Engineering, 2025) Karapinar, Erdal
In this paper, we introduce the notion of perturbed b-metric spaces and consider some basic topological notions on this new abstract structure. In addition, we shall discuss the existing and uniqueness of a fixed point in the setting of perturbed b-metric spaces.

F-Contraction Mappings on Metric-Like Spaces in Connection With Integral Equations on Time Scales
(Springer-verlag Italia Srl, 2020) Agarwal, Ravi P.; Aksoy, Umit; Karapinar, Erdal; Erhan, Inci M.
In this paper we investigate the existence and uniqueness of fixed points of certain (phi,F)-type contractions in the frame of metric-like spaces. As an application of the theorem we consider the existence and uniqueness of solutions of nonlinear Fredholm integral equations of the second kind on time scales. We also present a particular example which demonstrates our theoretical results.

Existence, Uniqueness and Successive Approximations for (λ, Ψ)-Hilfer Fractional Differential Equations
(Univ Politehnica Bucharest, Sci Bull, 2024) Krim, Salim; Salim, Abdelkrim; Benchohra, Mouffak; Karapinar, Erdal
The focus of this paper is on investigating a particular type of nonlinear (lambda, psi)-Hilfer fractional differential equations, and analyzing their existence results. Our approach involves utilizing Banach's fixed point theorem, and we also explore the global convergence of successive approximations to provide additional insights into the topic. To further illustrate our findings, we provide some examples that supplement our main results.

Mild Solutions for Conformable Fractional Order Functional Evolution Equations Via Meir-Keeler Type Fixed Point Theorem
(Univ Nis, Fac Sci Math, 2025) Berrighi, Fatma; Medjadj, Imene; Karapinar, Erdal
In this study, we delve into the realm of mild solutions for conformable fractional order functional evolution equations, focusing on cases where the fractional order is strictly greater than 1 and less than 2 within a separable Banach space. We demonstrate the existence, uniqueness, attractivity, and controllability of these solutions under local conditions. Our approach involves leveraging a contribution of Meir-Keeler's fixed point theorem alongside the principle of measures of noncompactness. To demonstrate the practical ramifications of our theoretical finds, we provide a specific example that underscores the relevance and applications of the established results.

Common Fixed Point Results for Meir-Keeler-Type Contraction Mappings
(Springer, 2025) Karapńar, Erdal; Cvetković, Marija, S.; Yeşilkaya, Seher Sultan
Meir–Keeler contraction presents an interesting and widely studied topic in the area of Metric Fixed Point Theory. We intend to present several results concerning common fixed problem and the impact of Meir-Keeler-type contractions on this type of results. We will present results on common fixed problem for a Meir–Keeler contraction mapping in various settings—metric space, b-metric space, partial metric space, Branciari metric space, etc. It is our intention to present a comprehensive study on this topic that will present a good starting point for the researchers in the Fixed Point Theory. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.

A New Approach To the Existence and Uniqueness of Solutions for A Class of Nonlinear Q-Fractional Boundary Value Problems
(Institute of Applied Mathematics of Baku State University, 2025) Karapinar, E.; Sevinik-Adiguzel, R.; Aksoy, U.; Erhan, I. M.
The object of this study is a boundary value problem associated with a q-difference equation of fractional order. The existence and uniqueness of a solution in the case of multi-point boundary conditions is studied from the viewpoint of fixed point theory. An integral equation equivalent to the boundary value problem is derived and the fixed points of the related integral operator are investigated by using a contractive condition involving a comparison function. The Ulam-Hyers stability of the problem is also discussed. Theoretical results are followed by a particular example.

Relationships Between Tropical Eigenvectors and Tropical Fixed Points of the Group gl(2, R)
(Forum Editrice Univ Udinese, 2020) Hayat, Umar; Farid, Ghulam; Karapinar, Erdal; Mathematics
The eigenvalues, eigenvectors and fixed points of matrices have many applications in various branches of science and many mathematical disciplines. In this paper first we introduce the concept of tropical fixed points, then we calculate the tropical eigenvalues and tropical eigenvectors of GL(2, R). Furthermore we give relationships between tropical eigenvectors and tropical fixed points of GL(2, R).

Uniqueness of Solution for Higher-Order Nonlinear Fractional Differential Equations With Multi-Point and Integral Boundary Conditions
(Springer-verlag Italia Srl, 2021) Sevinik-Adiguzel, Rezan; Aksoy, Umit; Karapinar, Erdal; Erhan, Inci M.
This study is devoted to the development of alternative conditions for existence and uniqueness of nonlinear fractional differential equations of higher-order with integral and multi-point boundary conditions. It uses a novel approach of employing a fixed point theorem based on contractive iterates of the integral operator for the corresponding fixed point problem. We start with developing an existence-uniqueness theorem for self-mappings with contractive iterate in a b-metric-like space. Then, we obtain the unique solvability of the problem under suitable conditions by utilizing an appropriate b-metric-like space.
