Türk Müziğinin Tarihsel Sosyolojisi: Eşitsiz ve Birleşik Gelişme ve Melezlik

Abstract

Bu çalışma, müzik ve Uluslararası İlişkiler arasındaki bağlantıları tarihsel sosyolojik perspektiften ve Eşitsiz ve Birleşik Gelişme teorisi ışığında incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Tezin temel argümanı, Türk müziğinin tarihsel gelişiminin ve onu etkileyen dinamik ve faktörlerin Batı'dakinden farklı bir seyir izlediği ancak hem Türk Müziğinin hem de Batı müziğinin tarihsel gelişiminin hem birbirleriyle hem de diğer birçok farklı kültürle ilişkili olarak 'birbirine bağlı sosyo-kültürel tarihsellikler' içerisinde oluştuğudur. Büyük resmin analizinde tarih eşitsizliklerin ve birleşmelerin bir arada bulunduğu döngüsel bir sistemi yansıtmaktadır. İlk olarak coğrafi ve iklimsel özelliklerin farklılığı nedeniyle gelişimlerine eşitsiz olarak farklı noktalardan başlayan Doğu ve Batı kültürleri bugüne dek gerek göçler ve savaşlar gerek seferler ve istilalar gerek diplomatik ve ticari ilişkiler gerekse de teknolojik gelişmeler ve artan küreselleşme sebebiyle bir araya gelerek birleşmiş, birleşmenin yüksek derecede homojenleşmeye yol açtığı noktalarda ise ulusal ideolojilerin ortaya çıkması ve kapitalist piyasa sisteminin yol açtığı aşırı bireyselleşme gibi nedenlerle yeniden eşitsizlikler üretilmesi sağlanmıştır. Coğrafya ve iklim sebebiyle yapılan eşitsiz başlangıçlar devamında her iki kültür için farklı dinlerin benimsenmesi, göçlerin, istilaların ve coğrafya keşiflerinin farklı varış noktaları, yönler ve yöntemler barındırması, toplumsal yaşamdaki hiyerarşik yapılanmalarının ve toplulukların yönetimsel uygulamalarının farklı olması sebepleriyle birbirlerinden farklı gelişimler ve birleşimler ortaya çıkmıştır. Son aşamada bugün ortaya çıkan bütün müzikal yapı ve üretimler, kendi dinamikleri ve parametreleriyle yeniden şekillenmiş, salt Doğulu ya da salt Batılı bir yönelimden uzak, her ikisinin yeni bir birleşimini ve versiyonunu içeren melez yapılar ortaya çıkarmıştır. Eşitsiz ve Birleşik Gelişme teorisi çerçevesinde yapılan bu çalışmadaki tüm teorik ve tarihsel değerlendirmelerin ardından elde edilen sonuçlarsa 'melezlik' kavramı etrafında bir araya getirilerek Post-kolonyal çalışmalara da katkı sağlanması amaçlanmıştır. This study aims to examine the connections between music and International Relations from a Historical Sociological perspective and in the light of Uneven and Combined Development theory. The main argument of the thesis is that the historical development of Turkish music and the dynamics and factors affecting it follow a different course from those in the West, but the historical development of both Turkish and Western music is formed in 'interconnected socio-cultural historicities' in relation to each other and many other different cultures. In the analysis of the big picture, history reflects a cyclical system in which inequalities and mergers coexist. Eastern and Western cultures, which started their development from different points unequally due to the differences in geographical and climatic characteristics, have come together and united until today due to migrations and wars, expeditions and invasions, diplomatic and commercial relations, as well as technological developments and increasing globalization, at the points where the unification led to a high degree of homogenization, inequalities were produced again due to the emergence of national ideologies and excessive individualization caused by the capitalist market system. Following the uneven beginnings made due to geography and climate, the adoption of different religions by both cultures, the different destinations, directions and methods of migrations, invasions and geographical discoveries, the different hierarchical structures in social life and the administrative practices of communities they have emerged different developments and combinations from each other. At the last stage, all the musical structures and productions that have emerged today have been reshaped with their own dynamics and parameters, and have created hybrid structures that contain a new combination and version of both, far from a purely Eastern or purely Western orientation. It is aimed to contribute to post-colonial studies by bringing together the results obtained after all the theoretical and historical evaluations in this study, which was carried out within the framework of the theory of Uneven and Combined Development, around the concept of 'hybridity'.
