Keats, Tennyson ve D. G. Rossetti'nın Eserlerindeki Şiir Sanat ve Gerçeklik Doğruluk Arasındaki Estetik İlişki

Abstract

Bu tezin amacı, estetik algılar ve gerçeklik algısı arasındaki ilişkiyi John Keats, Alfred L. Tennyson ve D.G. Rossetti şiirleri aracılığıyla sanat, güzellik ve gerçeklik kavramlarını felsefi ve edebi tartışmalarla bağdaştırarak incelemektir. Tez, Keats, Tennyson ve D.G.Rossetti'nin eserleriyle ilgili yapılan estetik yorumları meydana getiren estetik geleneği ve estetiğin yeni kullanımlarına esin kaynağı olan uygulamaları tartışır. Bu tez özellikle on dokuzuncu yüzyıl estetik algısına yoğunlaşır çünkü bu yüzyıl, estetiğin bir akım haline geldiği tarihsel bir dönemdir. Ayrıca tezde görülüyor ki, estetik uzun bir felsefi ve edebi eleştiri döneminin biçimlendirdiği, üzerinde tartışılabilir bir kavramdır ve bu kavramın içeriği çeşitli sanatsal kullanımlarla biçimlenmiş ve biçimlenmeye devam etmektedir. Bu bakımdan estetik, gelişimi devam eden bir kavramdır. Estetiğin doğası ve şiirdeki ilgili uygulamaları, kavramın etkileri, sapmaları ve gerçekle olan ilişkisi bağlamında tezde tartışılır. Bu tezin temel felsefi yapısı Platon'un estetik ve gerçeklik felsefesinin çağdaş bir yorumla değerlendirilmesine dayanır ve sanat ve gerçeklik arasındaki ilişki ve gerçeklikle ilgili yeni algıları özgür sanatsal ifade aracılığıyla yansıtır. Tezin sonuç bölümünde görülüyor ki, sanat, gerçeğin anlık ve/veya farklı algılanışı olası kılan estetikle ilgili kapsamlı, katmanlı ve esin kaynağı olan uygulamaların ifade edildiği alandır. Sonuç olarak, sanat algısının bu şekildeki oluşumu, sanatın doğası ile gerçekliğin doğasının bağlantılı olduğunu göstermektedir.

Considering the philosophical and literary discussions about art, beauty, and reality, this dissertation aims to highlight the relationship between aesthetic perceptions and the perception of reality in the poetry of John Keats, Alfred L. Tennyson, and Dante G. Rossetti. This dissertation discusses the aesthetic practices on Keats', Tennyson's, and Rossetti's artworks and examines these practices as shaped by an aesthetic tradition and as inspirations for new uses of the aesthetic. This dissertation focuses on perceptions of the aesthetic in the nineteenth century because it is a historical period during which the interest in the aesthetic took the form of a movement. In this dissertation, the aesthetic is perceived as a negotiable concept which is shaped by a long philosophical and literary criticism and by its various artistic uses. In that sense, the aesthetic is approached as a concept in a process of becoming. Hence, an analysis of the nature of the aesthetic and its workings in poetic form are discussed through the writer's tracing of the aesthetics' effects, deviations, and its relation with reality. The main structural philosophy of this dissertation is based on the evaluation of the Platonic philosophy on Aesthetics and Reality as the basis for a contemporary understanding of art's relations to reality as well as the new perceptions of reality through the free artistic expression. This dissertation concludes with the idea that art is the expressive field of the aesthetics' extensive, multiple, and inspired practices to be perceived as instantaneous perceptions of truth or multiple perceptive realities. Art's perception as such leads to the realization that the understanding of art's nature is interconnected with the understanding of the nature of reality.
