Arap Baharı Sonrası Amerika Birleşik Devletleri ve Rusya Federasyonu'nun Suriye'deki Rekabeti

Abstract

Bu araştırmada Amerika Birleşik Devletleri (ABD) ve Rusya Federasyonu'nun (Rusya) Suriye'deki çıkarları ve müdahale sebepleri üzerinden Suriye'deki rekabetleri incelenecektir. ABD ve Rusya İkinci Dünya Savaşı'ndan sonra Ortadoğu'da ve Suriye'de rekabet halinde olmuşlar, her iki güç Suriye İç Savaşı sonrası Suriye'de kendi çıkarları doğrultusunda hareket etmişlerdir. Rusya Suriye sorununu uluslararası sistemdeki yerini güçlendirmek için bir araç olarak görürken, ABD bu sorun aracılığıyla Ortadoğu'yu tamamen kontrol altına alıp bölgedeki hakimiyetini güçlendirmeyi hedeflemiştir. Suriye savaşındaki ABD ve Rusya'nın rolü doğrudan askeri ve siyasi müdahale ve vekalet savaşları yoluyla gerçekleşmiş, Rusya Suriye rejiminin yanında yer alırken ABD muhalefetin yanında yer almış fakat DEAŞ terör örgütünün ortaya çıkmasıyla her iki taraf DEAŞ'ile mücadele konusunda birleşmiştir. ABD ve Rusya Suriye'de askeri üsler kurarak kendi çıkarlarını korumaya çalışmıştır, ABD Suriye'de petrol ve doğalgaz kaynaklarını kontrol altına alırken Rusya sıcak denizlere inme politikası çerçevesinde Akdeniz'deki hakimiyetini arttırmıştır.

In this research, the rivalries of the United States of America (USA) and the Russian Federation (Russia) in Syria will be examined through their interests in Syria and the reasons for their intervention. After the Second World War, the USA and Russia were in competition in the Middle East and Syria, and both powers acted in their own interests in Syria after the Syrian civil war. While the Russia saw the Syrian problem as a tool to strengthen its place in the international system, the USA aimed to fully control the Middle East and strengthen its dominance in the region through this problem. The role of the USA and Russia in the Syrian war was realized through direct military and political intervention and through proxy wars too, while Russia sided with the Syrian regime, the USA sided with the opposition, but with the emergence of the DEASH terrorist organization, both sides united in the fight against DAESH. The USA and the Russia tried to protect their own interests by establishing military bases in Syria, while the USA took control of the oil and natural gas resources in Syria, the Russia increased its dominance in the Mediterranean Sea within the framework of the policy of landing in the warm seas.
