Kripto paranın doğuşu, gelişimi ve Türkiye'deki seyri

Abstract

Günümüzde, hayatın vazgeçilmez bir parçası olan ve ortaya çıktığı ilk dönemden günümüze kadar geleneksel bir değişim aracı olarak kullanılan para, zaman içerisinde teknolojinin de gelişiminden etkilenerek fiziksel olarak var olmayan sanal ortamlarda kullanılabilen varlıklara dönüşmüştür. Altyapısında, dağıtık bir ağ yöntemi kullanılan, merkezileşmiş ve otoriteye sahip olan geleneksel para yönetimi sistemini, dezavantajları ve aracıları ortadan kaldıran, para transferi aşamasında maliyetli azaltıp, daha güvenilir, şeffaf ve herhangi bir merkezi otoriteye sahip olmayan kripto para birimlerine bırakmıştır. Kripto para kavramı, Bitcoin'in oluşması ile birlikte 2009 yılında başlayan ve bu süreçten sonra sürekli farklı kripto para birimlerinin yani Altcoinlerin ortaya çıkması ile beraber sayısının her geçen gün arttığı sanal paralardır. Bitcoin, en yoğun ilgiye ve kullanıma sahip olan kripto paradır. Kripto para birimleri herhangi bir aracı kurum olmadan, şifreli transfer işlemlerini içeren ve elektronik ortamda transfer işlemlerinin yapılabilmesine imkân sağlayan teknolojileri ile büyük ilgi toplamaktadır. Türkiye'de 2013 yılında popüler olan ve gün geçtikçe sürekli kullanıcı sayısını artıran kripto para birimleri günümüzde piyasa içerisinde oldukça önemli bir düzeye ulaşmıştır. Türkiye'de kripto para birimlerinin satışı, kullanımı ve madenciliği konusunda herhangi bir düzenleme ve denetleme bulunmazken, günümüzde henüz kripto para birimlerinin para, emtia ya da menkul kıymet şeklinde onaylanacak yasal bir açıklaması da mevcut değildir. Bu çalışmada piyasa içerisinde yer alan en değerli para birimleri ile en popüler 11 kripto para birimi arasındaki ilişki araştırılmıştır. Bu tez çalışması kapsamında, işlem hacimleri en yüksek ve en değerli para birimleri ile Dolar, Euro, Sterlin, Altın, Bist100, Nasdaq en popüler 11 kripto para birimi Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, Dash, Monero, IOTA, Tether, Dogecoin, Neo, Tron arasındaki ilişki Ocak 2015- Aralık 2021 tarihleri arasında her kripto para biriminin piyasaya dahil olma yılları esas alınarak Birim kök (ADF Testi), Granger Nedensellik testi, Var modeli ve Etki-Tepki Testi kullanılarak analiz edilecektir. Today, money, which is an indispensable part of life and used as a traditional means of exchange from the first period it emerged to the present day, has turned into assets that can be used in virtual environments that do not exist physically, by being affected by the development of technology over time. It has left the traditional money management system, which uses a distributed network method in its infrastructure, which has a centralized and authority, to cryptocurrencies that eliminate the disadvantages and intermediaries, reduce the cost in the money transfer stage, and are more reliable, transparent and do not have any central authority. The concept of crypto money is virtual money that started in 2009 with the formation of Bitcoin and after this process, the number of different crypto currencies, namely Altcoins, is increasing day by day. Bitcoin is the cryptocurrency with the most intense interest and usage. Cryptocurrencies attract great attention with their technologies that include encrypted transfer transactions and enable transfer transactions in electronic environment without any intermediary institution. Cryptocurrencies, which were popular in Turkey in 2013 and constantly increasing the number of users day by day, have reached a very important level in the market today. While there is no regulation and supervision on the sale, use and mining of cryptocurrencies in Turkey, there is currently no legal explanation for cryptocurrencies to be approved in the form of money, commodities or securities. In this study, the relationship between the most valuable currencies in the market and the 11 most popular cryptocurrencies was investigated. Within the scope of this thesis, the most popular 11 cryptocurrencies in Dollar, Euro, Sterling, Gold, Bist100, Nasdaq with the highest and most valuable currencies Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, Dash, Monero, IOTA, Tether, Dogecoin, The relationship between Neo and Tron will be analyzed using Unit root (ADF Test), Granger Causality test, Var model and Impact-Response Test, based on the years of inclusion of each cryptocurrency in the market between January 2015 and December 2021.
