İran konutlarında mutfak mekanının mahremiyet olgusu üzerinden incelenmesi

Abstract

İran, tarihsel sürecinde İslam öncesi ve sonrası dönemler olarak ikiye ayrılmaktadır. Bu dönemlerde yaşanan siyasi ve kültürel değişimler, İran'ın yalnızca kentsel planlamasına değil, aynı zamanda İran geleneksel konut mimarisine de yansımıştır. Bu yansımalar, İran toplumunun temel yapısını ve yaşayış biçimlerini de şekillendiren gizlilik ve içe kapanma yani mahremiyet olgusunu da etkilemiştir. Batı etkisi ile kültür ve yaşam tarzı da etkilenen İran'da, konut yapılarının iç mekan planlamasında içe kapanma yerini dışa açılmaya bırakmıştır. İran kadınlarının da Batı etkisi ile modern bir kültür ve yaşam tarzını benimsemesi ile konutta yer alan kadın egemen mekan olan mutfağın kullanımı değişim göstermiştir. Mutfak mekanı, İran kültüründe bir mahremiyet simgesi olarak kadının egemen olarak yer almasından dolayı önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Bu çalışmada İran'ın tarihsel süreçte göstermiş olduğu gelişmeler ve bu süreçte değişim gösteren İran mimarisi, İran konutlarında mutfak mekanlarının geçirdiği değişimler ve bu değişimlerin mahremiyet olgusuna olan etkileri incelenmektedir.Iran is divided into two as pre and post-Islamic periods in its historical process. The political and cultural changes that took place during these periods were not only reflected in Iran's urban planning, but also in the traditional Iranian residential architecture. These reflections affected the phenomenon of secrecy and introversion, namely privacy, which also shaped the basic structure and life styles of the Iranian society. In Iran, where the culture and lifestyle are also affected by the western influence, the interior design of the residential buildings has been closed inward to the outside. The use of the kitchen, where is the dominant place of women in the residential building, has changed with the adoption of a modern culture and lifestyle with the Western influence of Iranian women. Kitchen space has an important role in the Iranian culture, as it is the sovereign of women as a symbol of privacy. This study examines the developments that has shown in the historical process of Iran and Iranian architecture, the changes in the kitchen space in Iranian rsesidential buildings and the effects of these changes on the case of privacy.
