Comparative Analysis of Development Trends of Stock Markets in Turkey in Automotive and Iron and Steel Sectors

Abstract

Bir ticaret aracı olan para, teknolojinin de gelişmesiyle geçmişten günümüzde birçok değişimlere uğramıştır. Teknolojinin gelişmesi parayı sanal ortamlara taşımış ve aracı kurumların da katkılarıyla kazançlara yol açılmıştır. Artık günümüzde vazgeçilmez olan para transferleri, internet alışverişleri gibi işlemlerin yanında kazanç elde etmek amacıyla hisse senedi alım ve satımları da yapılmaya başlanmıştır. Borsalar yatırımcılara güvenilir ve şeffaf bir birim olma fırsatı sunarken hisse senedi alım satımı zamanla hız kazanmıştır. Güvenilir bir ortamda yaptığı yatırımlarla kazanç elde eden yatırımcıların sayısı her geçen gün artmaktadır. Türkiye' de özellikle son yıllarda borsaya olan talebin artması büyük orta ve küçük ölçekli birçok yatırımcının aynı platformda birleşmesine sebep olmuştur. Hepsinin tek bir amacı olup maddi kazanç elde etmektir. Hisse senedi piyasasındaki artış veya düşüşlerin yatırımcı açısından maddi kazanç ve kayıplara yol açtığı bilindiğine göre bu kayıpları en aza indirgemek için analiz yapılması kaçınılmazdır. Bir şirkete ait pay senedi (hisse senedi) satın almak isteyen yatırımcı şirketin genel durumunu varlıklarını göz önünde bulundurup gelecek kazanç ve kayıplarını tahmin etme yükümlülüğündedir. Doğru analiz kazanç doğururken yanlış tahmin kayıplara yol açmaktadır. Bu çalışmada hisse senedi piyasasında otomotiv sektöründe yedi şirket, demir çelik sektöründe yedi şirket olmak üzere toplam on dört şirket incelenmiştir. Otomotiv sektöründen; Anadolu Isuzu Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (ASUZU), Doğuş Otomotiv Servis ve Ticaret A.Ş. (DOAS), Ford Otomotiv Sanayi A.Ş. (FROTO), Karsan Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (KARSN), Otokar Otomotiv ve Savunma Sanayi A.Ş.(OTKAR), Tofaş Türk Otomobil Fabrikası A.Ş. (TOASO) ve Türk Traktör ve Ziraat Makineleri A.Ş. (TTRAK) analiz edilmiştir. Demir çelik sektöründen Çuhadaroğlu Metal Sanayi ve Pazarlama A.Ş. (CUSAN), Erciyas Çelik Boru Sanayi A.Ş. (ERCB), Ereğli Demir ve Çelik Fabrikaları T.A.Ş. (EREGL), İskenderun Demir ve Çelik A.Ş.(ISDMR), İzmir Demir Çelik Sanayi A.Ş. (IZDMC), Kardemir Karabük Demir Çelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (KRDMD) ve Kocaer Çelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (KCAER) temel analiz yöntemiyle analiz edilmiş, bilançoları ve gelir tabloları incelenmiş ve birbirleriyle karşılaştırılmıştır. Temel analiz için Kap (Kamuyu Aydınlatma Platformu) ve İş Yatırım' dan 2022/12, 2021/12 ve 2020/12 dönemlerine ait verileriler alınmıştır. Money, which is a trading tool, has undergone many changes from the past to the present with the development of technology. The development of technology has carried money to virtual environments and has led to gains with the contributions of brokerage houses. In addition to transactions such as money transfers and internet shopping, which are now indispensable today, stock purchases and sales have also begun to be made in order to gain profit. While stock exchanges offer investors the opportunity to be a reliable and transparent unit, stock purchases and sales have gained momentum over time. The number of investors who gain profits with their investments in a reliable environment is increasing day by day. The increase in demand for the stock exchange in Turkey, especially in recent years, has caused many large, medium and small-scale investors to come together on the same platform. All of them have one goal: to gain financial gain. Since it is known that increases or decreases in the stock market cause financial gains and losses for the investor, it is inevitable to conduct analysis to minimize these losses. An investor who wants to buy a share (stock) of a company is obliged to estimate future gains and losses by considering the company's general situation and assets. While correct analysis leads to gains, incorrect predictions lead to losses. In this study, a total of fourteen companies, seven from the automotive sector and seven from the iron and steel sector, were examined in the stock market. From the automotive sector; Anadolu Isuzu Automotive Industry and Trade Inc. (ASUZU), Doğuş Automotive Service and Trade Inc. (DOAS), Ford Automotive Industry Inc. (FROTO), Karsan Automotive Industry and Trade Inc. (KARSN), Otokar Automotive and Defense Industries Inc. (OTKAR), Tofaş Türk Automobile Factory Inc. (TOASO) and Türk Tractor and Agricultural Machinery Inc. (TTRAK) were analyzed. From the iron and steel sector; Çuhadaroğlu Metal Industry and Marketing Inc. (CUSAN), Erciyas Steel Pipe Industry Inc. (ERCB), Ereğli Iron and Steel Factories T.A.Ş. (EREGL), İskenderun Iron and Steel Inc. (ISDMR), İzmir Iron and Steel Industry Inc. (IZDMC), Kardemir Karabük Iron and Steel Industry and Trade Inc. (KRDMD) and Kocaer Steel Industry and Trade A.Ş. (KCAER) were analyzed using the fundamental analysis method, their balance sheets and income statements were examined and compared with each other. For the fundamental analysis, data for the periods 2022/12, 2021/12 and 2020/12 were obtained from Kap (Public Disclosure Platform) and Business Investment.
