Abstract

In this survey paper, well known BB84 and B91 quantum key exchange protocols are discussed. We first shortly give the basics of quantum computing, then discuss current quantum key exchange protocols, conclusions and open problems. We also point the importance of such protocols that appears to be strengthful where its comes from the properties of quantum mechanics which is what makes quantum cryptology hard to break.
