Abstract
Küreselleşen dünyada ve her geçen gün zorlaşan ekonomi de işletmelerin krizi atlatabilmeleri ve yeniden ayakta durabilmeleri git gide zorlaşmaktadır. Bu çalışma KOBİ'lerin kriz karşısında neler yapabileceği ve krizi nasıl başarıyla atlatabileceklerine dair ışık tutmak için yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde KOBİ'lerin Türkiye'de ve dünya da tanımları geniş bir çerçeve ile incelenip KOBİ'lerin önemi, özellik ve işlevleri; sahip oldukları avantaj ve dezavantajları hakkında geniş bir çerçeve çizilmiştir. İkinci bölümünde KOBİ'lerde kriz kavramı, detayları ile ele alınmış, krize neden olan faktörler incelenmiş, krizin şiddeti ve süreci hakkında bilgiler aktarılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde kriz yönetimi üzerinde durularak kriz karşısında neler yapabileceği, hangi yöntemleri kullanabileceği üzerinde durulmuş ve sürecin işleyişi anlatılmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde ise tüm bu bilgiler ışığında KOBİ'lerde kriz yönetimine örnek olarak bir firma incelenecek ve örnek uygulama ile ilgili sonuçlar ortaya konulacaktır.
Due to both globalized and harsh economic conditions, survival of businesses is becoming more difficult today. This thesis is prepared to enlighten mid-sized enterprises to foster them to take better business decisions during economic crisis environments. First part of the paper depicts general the definition of mid-sized companies in Turkey and other countries, the importance of mid-sized companies, their aspects and functions and their pros and cons were thoroughly examined as well. In the second part, the mean of crisis for mid-sized companies was analyzed in detail, and information about the factors of the crisis, severity of crisis and processes were given to the reader. Third part elaborates crisis management that which counter actions could be taken against crisis and the entire process were explained. In the fourth section, behavior of mid-sized companies during economic crisis will be elaborated and finally, according to the aforementioned information a mid-sized company will be examined as an example and results of the examination will be presented.
