Abstract
Dünya Sağlık Örgütü'ne göre yaşam kalitesi, bireylerin yaşadıkları kültür ve değerler sistemi içerisinde amaçları, beklentileri, ilgi alanları ve yaşam standartları doğrultusunda hayattaki pozisyonları nasıl algıladıklarıdır. Sağlık yöneticileri yoğun çalışma temposu ve bununla beraber yürütmek zorunda oldukları görevleri, sağlıklarını koruyabilme, arkadaşlık, aile ilişkileri ve benzeri konularda fiziksel, ruhsal ve sosyal olarak büyük bir yük altına girmektedirler. Araştırma, Ankara ilindeki Sağlık Yöneticilerinin yaşam kalitelerini değerlendirmeye yönelik tanımlayıcı bir çalışma olarak planlanmış ve yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada örnekleme yapılmamış, hastanede çalışan bütün yöneticilerin araştırmaya dahil edilmesi hedeflenmiştir Araştırmada 221 sağlık yöneticisiyle ilgili veriler değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Yüz yüze görüşme tekniği ile iki bölümden oluş an bir anket uygulanmıştır. Anketin ilk bölümü 11 soruluk sosyo-demografik özellikleri içeren sorulardan, ikinci bölümü ise SF–36 (Short Form 36) yaşam kalitesi ölçeğinden oluşmaktadır. Sağlık yöneticisinin, SF-36'nın boyutlarından aldıkları puanlar, sosyo-demografik ve çalışma yaşamıyla ilgili bazı özelliklere göre karşılaştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın büyük bir kısmını 30-39 yaş grubundaki çalışanlar oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma grubu, yaşam kalitesinin ruhsal özellikleriyle ilgili boyutlarında düşük, fiziksel özellikleriyle ilgili boyutlarında daha yüksek puanlar almıştır. Kadın sağlık personelinin yaşam kalitesi puanları erkeklerin yaşam kalitesi puanlarından daha yüksektir. Yaş ilerledikçe, yaşam kalitesi puanları düşmektedir. Bekar sağlık personeli, yaşam kalitesi boyutlarının çoğunda yüksek puanı almıştır. İdari Mali İşler Şube Müdürü/Yardımcısı grubu, genel sağlık boyutu hariç bütün yaşam kalitesi boyutlarında diğer meslek gruplarına göre daha düşük puan almıştır. Toplam çalışma süresi uzadıkça, yaşam kalitesi puanları düşmektedir. Araştırma grubunun yaşam kalitesi boyutlarından aldıkları puanlar ortalaması yüksek bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak, sağlık yöneticileri; yaşam kalitelerinin yaş, çalışma süresi, toplam hizmet süresi, çalışma şekli durumlarından etkilendiği bulunmuştur. Anahtar sözcükler: 1. Yaşam Kalitesi 2. SF-36 3. The most common understanding of life quality, accepted by the World Health Organization, is that quality of life is how individuals perceive their status in life in terms of culture and value system in which they live and in relation to their goals, expectations, standards and interests. Health managers are under significant physical, mental and social pressure due to the intensive working pace, the tasks that they have to carry out, protect their health, and maintain a healthy relationship with family and friends. This study was planned and conducted as a descriptive study to assess the quality of life of health managers in Ankara. No sampling was made, and all managers in the hospital have been included in the study. In all, the data of 221 health managers were examined in the study. The survey was conducted via face-to-face interviews through a questionnaire form, which had two parts. The first part of the questionnaire consisted of 11 questions concerning socio-demographic variables, and the second part contained SF-36 (Short Form 36) quality of life instrument. The scores of SF -36 scales were compared according to some socio-demographic and work characteristics. The age group of 30-39 constitutes a larger proportion of the study population. The study group had lower scores on spiritual dimension of quality of life, but higher scores on physical properties. The quality of life scores of female health managers were higher than that of male professional. The quality of life scores decrease with increasing age. Single health care professionals had higher scores in most of the quality of life dimensions. Administrative and Financial Affairs Branch Manager / Assistant group had lower scores than those of other professional groups in all quality of life dimensions except overall health. As the study time increases, the quality of life scores decrease. The average grade of the quality of life scores of the study group was found to be higher. Finally, it was concluded that the quality of life of health managers was influenced by age, working hours, total service period, and working conditions. Key words: 1. Quality of life 2. SF-36 3.
