Abstract

The Turks have had economic and political relations with China throughout history. The fact that China has a variety of sizes in many respects has been perceived as an opportunity and a threat to the world. A large market in the economic aspect makes China attractive to other countries. It has a distinctive economic model called the Chinese socialist market economy. This model, focused on the highest level of pragmatic perspective, has made China a constant advantage across the globe. The revival of Turkey's foreign trade with China in the years of 1995 has turned against the Turkish economy over time. In particular, the devaluation of China's national money has adversely affected Turkey, such as in all other countries, in terms of foreign trade. China, which is the largest supplier of cheap goods over time, has become the most prominent country in Turkey's import increases. The foreign trade deficit for the country's economy in the medium and long term, in other words, is an important issue in the balance of payments. In order to gain a profitable foreign trade with China using Turkey's advantages, firms need state support. In addition, Turkish firms that play an active role in foreign trade should review their priorities for Turkey's profitable economic activity.
