Abstract
Many businesses are faced with risks such as reduced profit margins and loss of customers, as competition and market conditions worsen and customers have easier and faster access to more products. In order to keep up with the change, to ensure continuity in its activities, not only to protect their profitability, but also to grow in a healthy way by increasing it, customer relationship management is needed in order to ensure customer loyalty in businesses. The aim of this study is to reveal the effects of customer relationship management practices on business performance in business-to-business (B2B) markets. For this purpose, data were collected, by means of questionnaires, from 134 people working in the purchasing unit of companies engaged in B2B activities, The 'Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Scale' and 'Business Performance Scale' developed by Leo et al. (2005) and Yasan (2016), which had passed the validity and reliability tests before, and the Socio-Demographic Form prepared by the researcher were used in the research. As a result of the analysis of the collected data with the SPSS program, it has been determined that the company performance of the enterprises whose customer relationship management applications score increases by one unit will increase by 0.622 units. It is seen that the performances of companies whose customer relationship management applications are increasing are also positively affected. In addition, it has been determined that customer relationship management practices and their dimensions, customer focus, customer relationship management organization, information management and technology-based customer relationship management, have statistically significant and positive effects on company performance.
